This week on General Hospital, February 2 through 6, felt slow early on, and then Friday changed how the rest of the week played. If we had recorded the conversation before Friday, it would have been very different.
A lot of the discussion centered on Willow and the custody situation. She showed up at Alexis’s office already upset, and even after the sixty-forty compromise in Michael’s favor, she continued pushing. The issue with Michael’s house key kept coming up. Willow took the key and put it on Michael’s key ring so it would look like he had been in the house, even though he wasn’t there.
Chase’s involvement kept escalating. He questioned Molly about her work, inserted himself into situations he wasn’t assigned to, and later tested Michael’s keys at Drew’s house. We talked about how dangerous that is, especially with Wiley already noticing things and paying attention.
Friday’s episode reframed the entire week. Willow told Drew that she shot him. She explained that she took the gun from Edward’s study, shot him, but he didn’t die, and she injected him afterward. She also said that he now needs ongoing medication. That made the decision to take Drew home feel very different. She controls his care, his medication, and who has access to him.
That led to a larger conversation about Drew being discharged. Lucas and Liz both raised concerns, and Lucas pointed out that if Drew can answer questions by blinking, then someone should be asking him what he wants. We talked about how that decision felt rushed and uncomfortable.
Britt and Jason talked about reverse engineering her medication, and Britt explained that she only receives a limited supply at a time. After agreeing, the medication went missing and turned up with Cullum. He told her she would receive one dose at a time at Wyndemere, and the injection itself was uncomfortable to watch.
Anna’s situation escalated overseas. Emma received the call that Anna had been found in France after escaping and flagging down a car while talking about Cesar being alive. Emma went to Felicia, and Felicia pointed out that if Anna wanted Robert to know, she would have contacted him herself. When Felicia and Emma arrived, authorities were already moving Anna toward a mental health facility and would not allow her to be moved. Anna was focused on warning Emma to stay away, believing Faison would use Emma to get to her.
Joss continued asking questions. She talked to Laura about power grids and learned that Spoon Island was the only place that lost power. She intentionally left the Faison book where Laura would notice it and explained she found it at the library. Later, she questioned Liesl at Bobby’s. Liesl immediately questioned why Joss was asking, and Joss brought up the book and the fresh cigarettes found on Spoon Island.
Lucas was paying attention throughout the week. He was unsettled by Pascal and wanted to check out the catacombs, but Marco shut that down quickly. He later saw Britt at Wyndemere and noticed what appeared to be a walk of shame. We talked about how Lucas seemed to be clocking things without saying much.
Other threads came up during the conversation. Tracy focused on getting Edward’s decanter back and had Martin help box up Quartermaine heirlooms from Drew’s house. Diane was sidelined with a broken leg from skiing, which shifted legal scenes. Ezra continued hovering around Jacinda at the gym, stretching, taking selfies, and making things uncomfortable. Sonny unexpectedly brought home a rescue dog named Fizz.
We also talked about the legal side of the week. The sixty-forty custody compromise made sense to avoid a bigger fight, but Willow continuing to stack unrelated accusations onto it echoed Nina’s warning that those things wouldn’t matter in court. That led to a side discussion about how bad it would be if podcast clips were ever played out of context.

We read listener emails and theories, including thoughts about Jason keeping his shirt on and how that connects to his tattoo history. We also read a theory questioning whether Britt actually has Huntington’s and discussed the medication storyline further. On the lighter side, Shannon spotted a young Jophielle Love in Love and Death, Amanda talked about her Good Trouble and General Hospital reunion binge, including Brian Craig singing “Achy Breaky Heart,” and we teased the upcoming Faison series.
