General Hospital Recap: August 10-14, 2026

Michael finally got proof that could take Willow down, and used it to move her back into the Quartermaine gatehouse instead. Curtis learned his sentence, and it wasn't the outcome he was hoping for. Michael, Willow, and Jacinda

Jacinda drugged Willow's coffee, thinking it was safe since she believed Willow was heading out to give a speech that night. She told Michael what she had done, and he went to check on Willow.

He found her at Nina's, high and dancing with the kids, about to take them out for the night after the regular nanny called in sick and Yuri dropped Wiley and Amelia off with her instead. Michael got Wiley to help his sister get ready for bed, then got Willow water and convinced her to lie down. Disoriented, she told him his voice sounded like when he used to be nice to her, and that she missed when they were friends. Michael left with the kids once Nina got home.

Later, Michael told Jacinda that Wiley had almost had some of the drugged coffee himself. That's when he told her she needed to leave town.

Willow woke up with gaps in her memory and came over later to confront Michael, having pieced together that she'd been drugged and gotten a blood test at GH to prove it. She accused him of putting Jacinda up to it. He denied any involvement. To keep the peace, he agreed to let her have the kids for the rest of the week.

Separately, Michael pointed out to Jacinda that this was not the first time she had drugged someone on his family's behalf, and that the pattern could be used against both of them. He set up a bank account for her before she left. She exited without notice from her job at Crimson.

Then came the bigger reveal. Trina and Kai went to Michael and told him they had been in Drew's bedroom the night of September 2, 2025, and had heard two gunshots followed by a ringtone, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, going off. It was the ringtone Willow had set for Wiley. They came forward now because Gio told them Willow was planning to take Michael to court and cut him off from the kids entirely. Michael told them he had a plan.

That plan turned out to be affidavits. When Michael confronted Willow, he revealed that Trina and Kai had signed notarized affidavits confirming what they heard that night. Willow argued she could not be charged again since she had already been through a related trial, and Michael told her double jeopardy does not apply in family court. His terms: she moves back into the Quartermaine gatehouse, hands over her passport, and takes no trips or vacations with the kids without him, in exchange for keeping her place in their lives and avoiding formal legal exposure. Willow agreed and called the movers.

The next morning, Tracy found the moving van at the gate and objected, calling Willow dangerous and manipulative and saying she could not stomach having her on the property. Michael invoked his grandmother Monica by name to make his case. Tracy relented, warning him that if this backfires, he will regret it as much as she will.

Curtis, Jordan, Isaiah, and the Verdict

Isaiah was with Portia waiting for the jury to come back when he came to her house with the news on his hand: the latest MRI showed it healing well with no lasting tendon damage, though he is not yet cleared to operate. Curtis and Jordan also talked about the night of the crash, and Jordan learned for the first time that Valentin had been the one to help pull her from the wreck. Isaiah and Portia separately agreed that no matter what happens with Curtis, he will always be part of Desmond's life, and by extension theirs.

The jury found Curtis guilty of second-degree assault and battery. The judge sentenced him to ten years at Pentonville, with the possibility of parole after two. Martin secured Curtis forty-eight hours before he had to report, citing his newborn son.

Portia got home first and told Marshall and Stella the verdict before Curtis arrived to say goodbye to Desmond. Curtis spent part of that time with the baby, and shared an emotional goodbye with Trina, who blamed herself for having pulled away from her parents before the trial and felt the sentence was too severe. Portia promised Marshall she would help Curtis find his way back to Desmond when the time comes.

Drew, Scout, Danny, Jason, and Alexis

Drew barred Scout from the pool whenever Danny was working. Alexis met with Drew to ask about Scout spending time with her mother's family. Drew refused, brought up Scout spraining her ankle after copying something Danny did, and accused Alexis of filling Scout's head with lies about him while he was in the wheelchair. Alexis denied ever speaking negatively about him in front of Scout. Chief Brennan interrupted the conversation and made a veiled comment to Drew about his political past possibly coming back to bite him.

Scout told Rocco that life had been easier when her father was in the wheelchair, since she got to do the Saturday crossword with Alexis and cook with Molly, and that her caretaker Chelsea reports everything back to Drew. Rocco suggested she go along with her father's rules on the surface while doing what she wants underneath, and the two started arranging ways to see each other without getting caught. Danny and Charlotte discussed getting back at Drew, including the idea of manufacturing something to use against him, though Danny was uneasy about anything that could hurt Scout in the process.

Jason floated the idea of maybe opening a garage, which led to him telling Carly he was no longer working for Sonny. He apologized for possibly having pressured her over the years to stand by Sonny. Carly suggested he get involved with the Quartermaines, seeming to mean ELQ, since they might need him now. He turned down running security at the Metro Court. Whatever he decides, he said, Danny comes first.

Charlotte, Lulu, Rocco, and Valentin

Lulu decided to let Charlotte move in with Valentin at the house he is renting on the mainland. Laura told her she thought it was the right call. Rocco was furious, accused Charlotte of being selfish for leaving their mother, and stormed off to the pool to pick up his paycheck. Charlotte and Lulu shared a tearful goodbye, with Lulu promising weekend visits and calls.

Sonny, Justine, Jason, and Sidwell's Assets

With Sidwell's plea deal finalized, his U.S. assets went up for auction. Sonny wants his piers back and told Ric he is getting out of the business, calling himself "a full-time coffee importer, nothing else." Drew is going after the same holdings, openly framing it as a way to marginalize Sonny for good. Valentin met with Jordan, who told him about Sidwell's legitimate holdings, including a phone app called SRE Touch that has not turned a profit yet but is about to scale up. She negotiated a consultant's fee for anything further.

Sonny told Ric he needed him to step up and be straight with him the way Jason always had been, since that role now falls to him with Jason gone.

Justine warned Sonny that the statute of limitations is still running on some of what he has allegedly done, and that there is none at all for murder. She made clear her office could still build a case against him, and that their relationship has to stay a secret to protect her career.

Anna, Britt, Peter, and Cassius

Anna, at GH for a routine appointment, kept hearing from Peter, a presence only she can see or hear, like a haunting or a hallucination. He pushed her to use Felicia to get information on Britt. Britt later asked Anna directly if she still had WSB pull, hoping to learn what happened to Cassius and where he is buried, for her mother's sake. Anna said the WSB would not share that. Britt accused her of losing her compassion and grabbed her arm before Felicia stepped in.

Tristan told Britt he recognized the kind of damage the WSB leaves behind, said it was part of why he had gotten out himself, and told her she could rebuild the way he had. Felicia mentioned she had found Britt a sublet in Dr. Rosen's loft while he is on sabbatical.

Later in the week, Anna found Britt and told her she had changed her mind and would help her, but only face to face, with no calls, texts, or emails between them. After Britt left, Peter told Anna the bait was set, and that when Britt came to her, she could take her out.

Separately, Britt told Rocco that the Huntington's diagnosis Cullum gave her was never real, and that he had made her believe it.

Joss, Carly, Valentin, and JJE

Joss confronted Carly over whether she had pushed Jax to hand her his company to force her out of the WSB. Carly said she had only told Jax that Joss had joined, and that the company decision was his alone. Joss learned her father had left on a solo sailing trip and put her in charge of JJE without asking. She refused to run it and said the company's VP, Hudson, would put together a list of replacement candidates for her to review. Valentin told her not to hand her family's legacy to a stranger without vetting them first, since some people would only want to sell it off for parts, and offered to help.

Later, Hudson pushed her at the pool to move faster, warning the company was destabilizing. Joss told him to keep working the list and said she would not be rushed, echoing advice her father had once given her about not letting anyone pressure a decision.

Quick Notes

Lucy, Serena, and Cody. Lucy introduced Cody to his half-sister, Serena Baldwin, at the Metro Court pool. The two had not met before. Serena told Lucy she does not think Michael is trying to take over Deception and that they may not need his shares after all.

Molly and Cody. Cody was bitten by the horse Hades while grooming him. Molly's publicist confirmed her for a panel at a romance novel convention in Savannah, and Cody is going with her; they will have their own private bungalow.

Sidwell's sentence. Sidwell's plea deal combined both sets of charges against him. He was sentenced to 31 years at Pentonville, with parole possible after 26. It also came out this week that Sidwell was responsible for drugging Maxie and causing her coma.

Reality Check

Amanda spent the week in job training, including one day where a slower-paced trainer covered material that was already laid out step by step in a handout. She got a much-needed night out with her best friend from high school, with dinner and driving around reminiscing the way they used to as teenagers. She is easing into the start of the school year, with her daughter Madeline heading to Kennywood twice this week and a friend's birthday party to shop for.

Shannon was sick for about a day and a half this week. She and her daughter made it to Steel City Con to meet Adam Savage from Mythbusters, a meeting that had been rescheduled after he had to cancel back in April. Her daughter had an old photo of Adam Savage dressed as No-Face from Spirited Away at a convention in 2008 or 2009, and he signed it and remembered exactly where it was from. Her son was already away for a weekend back at college, so he missed the outing.
