General Hospital Recap: October 5-9, 2026
Updated: Oct 24
Lulu talked her way into Sidwell’s hospital room, and the article she wrote afterward turned Willow’s life upside down. Justine ended things with Sonny, Gio got ready to move in with Emma, and Felicia brought Anna news about Robert that means he is coming home one more time. Lulu, Sidwell, and the Invader Article
Jenz Sidwell is recovering at GH after the attack at Pentonville. When Elizabeth checked on him after surgery, he told her that her bedside manner was impeccable for someone who hates him.
Lulu wanted Sidwell’s side of the story for the Invader, but Liz refused to let her anywhere near him. So Lulu changed into scrubs, took Felicia’s hospital badge, and pushed a cart up to his room, where the guard opened the door for her. Sidwell was more than happy to talk. He named Sonny, Britt, and Willow as people in Port Charles with more to answer for than he does, and once Lulu started recording on her phone, she pressed him for more about Willow. Back downstairs, Felicia realized her badge was gone.
Lulu’s next stop was Drew. She pitched a story about his recovery from locked-in syndrome and how he had fought his way back, and Drew was glad to talk. Before she left, she had him sign a release for his medical records. When a nurse went to pull the file, Liz stopped her and called Drew to confirm he had actually signed it. Then Liz and Lucas filled Lulu in on a few things. They described how Willow had presented herself as capable of being Drew’s caretaker. They also pointed out that Brennan and Drew both had locked-in syndrome and both made full recoveries, even though Drew was the first patient with the condition Lucas had ever treated.
The article ran with the claim that Willow had been drugging Drew on Sidwell’s orders. Carly pulled it up for Drew, laughing, and Drew said it was only supposed to be about his recovery. He went to Ava to talk through what the story could mean for them.
Sidwell later claimed he thought Lulu’s visit had been a dream, even though he had called her by name during the interview.
Willow, Chase, and Britt
Willow and Britt met for lunch at the Metro Court to talk about getting Nina out of Steinmauer and about their love lives. Willow got flustered when she spotted Chase across the room. He was there with Monet, who is handling his separation. He told Monet that Brook Lynn had suggested they move out of the Quartermaine house together. There was a time he thought couples counseling might have helped, he said, but now his first instinct was to wonder what her angle was.
Once Monet left and Britt excused herself, Willow went over to Chase. She asked whether Leo would be at the house that night, since Wiley wanted to invite him to dinner. The conversation turned to the falcons nesting on the Quartermaine roof, and Chase found out that Wiley and Amelia go into his room to watch them.
Willow later invited Chase back to the gatehouse for a glass of wine. She told him that moving out of the Quartermaine house was a good idea, based on what living there had done to her and Michael. Before he left, Chase told her he has always believed in her and always will.
After the article came out, Britt went to Willow and said Drew’s locked-in syndrome and sudden recovery had never added up for her. She also wondered why Sidwell would confess to another crime now. Willow kept fielding phone calls and worried out loud that Drew would confirm everything. Then Chase walked in, wanting Willow to sue Lulu for libel. Britt asked him which mattered more, punishing the Quartermaines or protecting Willow, and pushed to keep the attention off her. Chase didn’t budge. Britt then went to see Sidwell.
Brook Lynn, Chase, and the Quartermaines
Brook Lynn told Tracy that Chase has no interest in saving their marriage.
Valentin stopped by the house with a message for Danny from Charlotte and found Brook Lynn upset. She called what she was going through karmic payment for what she had done to him. Valentin said he didn’t think the universe worked that way, and that whatever happened between the two of them was water under the bridge. He also admitted he wasn’t surprised her marriage was falling apart. When Brook Lynn described Chase as kind and honest and herself as manipulative, Valentin told her there was a world of difference between the two. She looked exhausted, he said, and he asked whether it came from trying to be someone she isn’t for too long. He told her he knows what it’s like to remake yourself into someone another person could love.
Brook Lynn also ran into Hudson at the boxing gym. When he tried to help tape her wrist, she let him know her uncle had taught her how when she was twelve. Hudson told her about friends of his who broke up after having a child and how hard it was on all of them, and from there they talked about her marriage.
Chase went back to Monet to sign the separation papers so they could be served. Monet asked whether he would rather file for divorce instead. Before anything was settled, Tracy texted him Lulu’s article, and he walked out of the meeting. Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn was chopping strawberries while Michael told her he was not the reason her marriage ended. Tracy came in and asked whether either of them read the paper, and both of them reached for their phones. Then Chase stormed in, accused all three of them of being behind the hit piece on Willow, and said he was going to stop them.
Sonny, Justine, Carly, and Ava
Justine ended her relationship with Sonny. When he insisted he was telling the truth about Pentonville, she said that was exactly what a liar would say, and he asked what she expected someone telling the truth to say instead. She left him with this: “My office will put you away if it’s the last thing I do.”
Ava told Sonny she was keeping Avery from their scheduled weekend because of Pentonville. When Carly brought Donna over, Sonny had to explain that Avery wouldn’t be there to make friendship bracelets. Carly told him she didn’t need to ask whether he ordered the hit, because she knows him well enough to know he didn’t. Sonny told her about Dante and said he was worried about what all of this would do to his kids. He also said he wouldn’t push Ava about Avery, since Avery is a teenager.
He sat Donna down and warned her that she would hear bad things about her dad at school. Donna said she would smack anyone who said anything, and Sonny told her not to smack anyone. Then she told him, “I always believe you.”
Gio, Emma, Trina, and Sonny
Gio told Trina that Sonny had tried to convince him he had nothing to do with the attack, and that Sonny has been one of the steady people in his life. Even so, Gio said he would have to move out. Later, we saw postcards with Trina and Gio’s names on them, and Gio’s face had been scratched out.
Gio and Emma went apartment hunting over a glass of wine and a beer. Emma asked Anna to cosign the lease, and Anna agreed and offered to help with the deposit. She had one condition: she does not put furniture together.
When Gio told Sonny he was moving in with Emma, Sonny said it had to be Gio’s choice and that he had never kept Gio anywhere he didn’t want to be. He told Emma he would prove his innocence to Gio. On his way out, Gio told Sonny to forget he had ever asked about a music manager.
Anna, Felicia, and Robert’s News
Felicia ran into Anna at the hospital before Anna’s session with her therapist, Dr. Nichols. Mac had spoken with Robert, Felicia said, and he and Holly are coming for a visit before the end of the year. Since he isn’t running for re-election, Robert needs to officially close out his time as district attorney. He has been spending his time in France and plans to make it his permanent home. Anna said she had always thought that if Robert settled anywhere, it would be Port Charles.
In her session, Anna told Dr. Nichols she was happy for Robert, who had done his share of saving the planet. She said France reminds her of being locked in that room. She talked about learning to compartmentalize during a tough adolescence and admitted she felt foolish for thinking she could compartmentalize someone like Faison. She told Dr. Nichols how Faison took Robin, and she connected her ability to finally move past him to what she almost did to Britt.
Carly asked Anna to meet about Josslyn, though Anna wasn’t sure she could help. Anna mentioned that Dr. Nichols had suggested bringing in someone who knew her back then, and Carly encouraged her to ask Valentin. Anna asked whether Carly would really be comfortable with Valentin going to therapy with someone he once loved. Carly said that if Jason were in Anna’s position, she would do whatever it took to help him. She told Anna to do everything she could to get well and to let Valentin help, because it would make him happy.
Justine asked Dante whether he had helped Lulu get her story. Dante made it clear he hadn’t and said Lulu does her homework. Justine then asked Anna for a second set of eyes on an arrest. Anna explained that the WSB won’t press charges over the drug used on Drew, because acknowledging it exists would make the agency look bad, but she confirmed the WSB does have it. She described it as a mix of FDA-approved drugs combined with other substances. Justine apologized to Anna for once accusing her of protecting Sonny, now that she was in the same position herself. Dante went to the hospital to confirm Lulu’s interview had actually happened.
Serena, Jason, and the Falcons
Serena found Jason at the Quartermaine mansion and told him Scott Baldwin says hello. Her dad had to leave Port Charles in the middle of the night, she said, because he thought Jason was going to kill him. Then she stepped on Jason’s toe on her dad’s behalf.
Before Serena arrived, Tracy had been pressing Yuri about Chase and Brook Lynn. Yuri said he would tell her anything she wanted to know about Willow and Chase, but he would not betray Brook Lynn’s privacy by repeating a conversation between a husband and wife. Then they heard squawking from the roof. Yuri had never removed the peregrine falcon nest, and disturbing migratory birds is a federal crime.
Serena was there to meet with Tracy and Brook Lynn about the holiday pop-up coming to Charles Street. When the falcons came up, Serena asked Tracy to have the nest moved rather than destroyed. She pretended to leave, then snuck upstairs.
Jason was in the kitchen when he heard her scream. Serena was hanging from the rain gutter by her toes, and he got her down. She wanted the nest taken to the nature preserve, where the birds could find it, so Jason took it there himself. Afterward, Serena asked for a powder room so she could check herself for ticks, told Jason he should do the same, and asked him to check her hair.
Josslyn, Agent Baines, and Hudson
Josslyn met with WSB Agent William Baines, whose name is already on Brennan’s office door. She told him she didn’t want to keep working the Jax Holdings assignment because she didn’t know what she was looking for. She wanted to go after Sonny instead, since she is sure he isn’t really retired and she is the best person for the job. Baines told her the WSB considers Sonny a Port Charles problem, and as far as they’re concerned, he is retired. She could follow orders or leave the agency. Joss chose to stay on the assignment.
Joss told Hudson she planned to use her dad’s company to take Sonny down, and argued it would actually help the company. Hudson laid out why that wouldn’t work and said Jax wouldn’t be okay with it. One day she would have to justify her decisions to her father, he reminded her, and the company’s employees would be affected too.
Curtis, Jordan, and Monet
A guard stopped Jordan from bringing Curtis coffee because it counted as a gift, and prisoners who are patients get very short visits. Curtis told Jordan to go to Germany. He also admitted that Brook Lynn wasn’t the only reason they ended up where they are.
Monet told Curtis she thought she could help him get an appeal and introduced herself as Jordan’s sister. Curtis said Jordan doesn’t have a sister. Monet explained that they are half sisters, with the same mother and different fathers. Stella grilled Monet and then told Curtis she didn’t trust her and didn’t want her representing him. Curtis said he didn’t trust Monet either, but she has everything to prove.
Quick Notes
While Molly and Alexis were talking, Alexis vented about Drew. Drew overheard her and threatened to send Scout to boarding school.
Dante and Rocco spent some time boxing. Later, Scout found Danny babysitting Wiley and Amelia. She told him Rocco had explained what really happened and said the two of them shouldn’t throw away their friendship over a stupid fight. When Dante checked on Danny, he reminded him that he and Rocco are brothers.
Portia came back from maternity leave to a steady stream of passive aggressive comments about returning to work.
Isaiah and Tristan stopped in to see Sidwell, who asked Isaiah whether saving him was a conflict of interest. Isaiah said Tristan was the one who saved him, but the whole team has a duty to its patients. When Sidwell asked whether Curtis had made it, Isaiah said he had. Sidwell started to lose his temper, and they left.
Port Charles Pipeline
We opened this week with sad news. Robert Kelker-Kelly, who played Stavros Cassadine, passed away on October 3 at 62. He was so good at being creepy, and for a Cassadine there is no higher compliment.
Holly caught something we missed. Sidwell called Elizabeth “Nurse Baldwin,” but the jacket she was wearing was freshly stitched with Webber. Liz has been going by Baldwin, and Amanda remembers her correcting Ric on exactly that when he first started pursuing her again. Good catch, Holly.
Kim and her husband just celebrated their 25th anniversary. He doesn’t watch GH, but he knows how much she loves it, so he made a General Hospital version of their wedding photo for his Facebook post. Kim thinks her groom’s hair was almost as poofy as her veil. Happy anniversary, Kim, and we want to know what everyone said in the comments.
Ashley asked where the Waterfront District is in western New York. That one is on us. When Shannon talked about visiting Pier 54, she meant the real Pier 54 in New York City, not anywhere near the Buffalo area where Port Charles loosely sits.

Reality Check
Amanda had a fairly quiet week. She spent Monday and Tuesday with her mom and took her to a doctor’s appointment. Madeline cheered at the last football game, which means Amanda gets a break from freezing in the stands until basketball season moves everyone indoors. She and Ryan met Matt and Julie for dinner to go over more wedding plans, and she finally got to see the full set of engagement photos. Ryan was away all week rolling out a new system at the hospital and working until 11 every night, so every drop-off and pickup fell to Amanda.
Shannon’s week was a roller coaster. She and JD saw a local 30th anniversary production of Rent at the Greer Cabaret Theater, where you can order dinner and drinks right from your seat. When her daughter’s independent living class lost its scheduled apartment tour, the instructors asked Shannon to step in, and she gave the tour and talked the group through what to look for when renting. A hard day at home meant the family couldn’t go see Jeff Goldblum as planned, so her son encouraged her to go with friends instead. Jeff had almost no voice that night, but he still played piano, and Brett Keisel came out with a Steelers jersey that said Goldblum on the back. Her daughter has also finally started watching Friends, and the two of them spent an afternoon painting Halloween light boxes with the show on in the background.
This Thursday on the Port Charles 411
Our first Alexis episode covered 1996 to 2010 in about 30 minutes, back before we did real research, and she deserves better than that. This Thursday we start a proper deep dive on Alexis Davis, beginning with 1998 and 1999. With Alexis squaring off against Drew this week, the timing works out.
