General Hospital Recap April 27 - May 1, 2026

Carly and Valentin

Valentin has been staying in Carly's attic for months. This week he admitted to Carly that he had called Anna's clinic again, posing as Dr. Kevin Collins to get an update on Anna. Carly told him plainly that the WSB was almost certainly monitoring that clinic, and a call coming from Port Charles instead of Dublin would not go unnoticed.

She was right. Ross Cullum caught the discrepancy and called Jenz Sidwell to flag it. Sidwell started paying closer attention to everyone around him.

Lucas warned Carly that her mystery man was going to get her killed. Carly held firm, telling him the man she was with would protect her before he ever put her in danger.

Carly and Valentin made up after an argument earlier in the week. Then Brennan broke into the house. He got upstairs. He found Carly. Whether Valentin had time to get clear is the question heading into next week.

Willow, Chase, and Michael

Willow had been meeting with Michael in her office. She was apologizing for the way she had behaved and hoping Michael would agree to let her take the kids to Disney World over the summer. Michael agreed and even floated the idea of coordinating so he could take them to Hawaii. As he was heading out, Chase walked in carrying flowers for Willow, a thank-you for helping him and Brook Lynn get approved as foster parents. Michael caught sight of the bouquet on his way out the door and made a mental note of it.

Chase knew exactly which flowers were her favorites. When Willow reacted to them, Michael had seen enough. He took that observation to Carly. He was not pushing Chase and Willow toward each other, only declining to get in the way. Carly reminded him it was his cousin's marriage. Michael held his ground: he could not make either of them do something they did not want to do.

Shannon and Amanda had a lot to say about that flower delivery. Hear it on this week's episode.

Brook Lynn, Chase, and Baby Phoebe

Alexis already knew about Phoebe, but she stopped Brook Lynn short when the conversation turned to adoption. Being on the path to fostering did not mean they got to jump the line ahead of families who had already been waiting. Alexis told her to document their own good-faith search for Phoebe's family first. That way, when they moved forward, it would be clear they were not trying to rush past the process or stake a claim that was not theirs yet.

Brook Lynn has been carrying guilt about Jordan's accident, and it showed throughout the week. She told Tracy she was still tempted to come clean about her role in what happened, and Tracy talked her out of it. That weight did not go away.

When Trina stopped by to drop off a misdelivered package, Brook Lynn asked how Jordan was doing. Trina told her Jordan was expected to fully recover but that her face might be permanently scarred. Brook Lynn felt the impact of that. She pivoted quickly, bringing up Trina and Gio's open mic performance and offering to connect Trina with her music industry contacts if she ever wanted to pursue singing professionally.

Chase also asked Brook Lynn about where her car had been. Tracy handled it without missing a beat, telling him she had booked them both into a detailing center on a two-for-one deal.

Jordan, Curtis, and Isaiah

Jordan's bandages came off this week, revealing more burn scarring than viewers had seen before. The medical team was clear: the skin needed more time before any further treatment could be done.

Brick stopped by to visit and brought flowers. He was openly flirtatious from the moment he walked in, asked how serious things were with Curtis, and extended an invitation to take a trip so she could hear the rest of a story he had been holding back. It was a very different kind of hospital visit.

Portia had a conversation with Curtis that handed him something significant. She mentioned she and Isaiah had been at the cabin together that night but that Isaiah had come back to Port Charles to help a patient. Curtis registered immediately what that meant. If Isaiah was in town the night of the accident, his alibi does not hold.

Curtis brought his theory to Justine and also spoke with Laura. He is focused on the timeline.

Separately, the paint analysis from the accident scene came back pointing toward a German vehicle. Isaiah drives a German car. Curtis does not know yet about what happened at GH, where Isaiah's car turned up with fresh scraping damage and Isaiah was dealing with insurance over it rather than simply paying the repair cost himself. Those two threads are moving closer together.

Molly mentioned to Cody this week that she and Jordan used to be close. Cody encouraged her to reach out.

Rocco, Britt, and Ross Cullum

Rocco was at GH for his community service hours and found himself near Cullum's room. Britt spotted him there and pulled him out.

She did not handle it gently. She told him to stay away from Cullum, away from that hallway, away from anything connected to that room. She was direct and firm and gave him no room to push back. She also told Liz to keep Rocco away from her.

Britt is not supposed to be spending time with Rocco, and that part Liz understood. What did not add up was the intensity behind it. Britt loves that kid. Everyone around her knows it. So watching her work that hard to push him away made clear she was not being cold. She was protecting him. Liz could see Britt was not telling her everything, but she could also see exactly what Britt was trying to do.

Cullum spoke with Liz directly as well, noting that the person who shot him may have hurt their hand from the kickback. He framed it casually. Liz kept her composure.

Sonny found Britt to tell her that Brennan had given him a lead on Jason's location and that Jason appeared to be safe, even if Sonny could not reach him yet. Britt took that in knowing she had just told Cassius that Josslyn was a WSB agent, and what that would mean for Josslyn.

Josslyn, Liesl, Dante, Nina, and Cassius

Josslyn had approached Liesl at the end of last week with questions about Nathan. Liesl responded this week. She told Joss that asking those kinds of questions could put her in the same position as Anna, and she was not speaking hypothetically.

Joss went to Dante with what she had. Dante did not just tell her to back off. He told her he already knew she was WSB, which was news to her. He also made clear she needed to come with actual intel if she was going to be useful, not just theories.

Joss had pieced together from a conversation with her uncle Lucas, who had no idea what he was handing her, that Carly was seeing someone. She put two and two together and figured out it was Valentin, then went to Brennan with what she knew.

She also paid a visit to Nina. She came with coffee and a cover story: she wanted to apologize for how she had treated Nina during the Michael and Willow situation, and she wanted Nina's help picking out a thank-you gift for Nathan, who had been a good gym spotter. Nina called her out immediately. She wanted to know what Joss actually wanted, because the apology was months and months overdue and a coffee plus a gift request did not add up.

Joss tried to soften things by drawing a parallel. She brought up how she and Dex had seemed like they were meant to be together, the way Maxie and Nathan once had, and how sometimes the people you expect to end up together just do not. She was trying to build common ground with Nina. Nina was not moved. She landed on the theory that Joss had a crush on Nathan, which Joss shut down. Nathan is with Lulu, she said. Then Joss asked why Nathan was with Lulu instead of Maxie, which did not help her case. Nina stayed suspicious the entire time.

Nathan, meanwhile, was pushing Lulu to send Rocco out of town. He told her Rocco had confided in Britt about shooting Cullum and that he thought getting Rocco away from Port Charles was the only way to keep him safe. Lulu was outraged.

By the end of the week, Britt had told Cassius that Josslyn was a WSB agent. Cassius confronted Joss at her apartment. He grabbed her arm before she could leave and told her it was already too late.

Shannon and Amanda are not in agreement on whether what Britt did was protective or a disaster. That debate is worth hearing out on this week's episode.

Lucy, Ava, Jenz, and Ethan

Ava was already at Bobbie's with Jenz when Lucy arrived. Jenz told Lucy that Ava had been wonderful company while Lucy was away and that Ava had really shown up for him after Marco died. Lucy kept her expression pleasant and filed that away.

With the three of them together, Ava brought up the idea of going to look at some art, framing it as a trip she and Jenz might take. Lucy slid right in and made it a group plan before Ava had finished the sentence. Jenz thought it was a fine idea. Ava did not have a clean way to object without showing her hand. Lucy made the most of every opening she had, knowing Ava had no idea how much she was actually helping Lucy's position with Jenz.

Jenz had already made clear to Lucy that he was not a one-woman man. Lucy knew that. Ava did not.

Lucy later tried to directly provoke Ava, testing where the pressure points were.

Ethan, working for Sonny, was also moving this week. Ric had suggested Sonny test Ethan's loyalty by putting a buyout opportunity in front of him. Ethan turned it down and made clear he was ready to do more when the time came. His motivation goes beyond the work: Jenz tried to have his mother killed. Ethan also grew suspicious of something during the week and worked to cover his tracks before it could surface.

Nathan, James, and Liesl

After leaving Bobbie's, Nathan took James to meet Liesl at the Metro Court for dessert. The scene had a few small touches that stood out. Nathan asked James to go check on the hostess, Trish, and find out how her mother was doing. It was the kind of natural, considerate thing that made the whole situation harder to watch, knowing what it is.

James came back, remarked that sisters always seem to get what they want, and then told Nathan he wished he had a brother. He asked if Nathan felt the same way.

Nathan mentioned Peter August.

James said he meant a good brother.

Liesl was right there for that exchange. She knows who Peter August was. She knows what he did. There was something in the way she processed James's answer, and Shannon and Amanda spent time on whether she suspects more than she is letting on. How a mother would not recognize that this man is not her son is one question. Whether some part of her already does and is choosing to

hold on anyway is another.

Kristina, Lucas, and the Marco Rios Tennis Center

Kristina tracked Lucas down at the hospital with an idea. Her relationship to the community center she helped start is complicated. She was voted off the board, and for a long stretch it was not even clear whether the center had actually opened. It did, quietly, without much attention. She wanted to do something through it in Marco's memory.

Lucas told her more about Marco, including that he had loved tennis and was fiercely competitive about it. By the end of the conversation, they had a plan: raise funds to build tennis courts at the facility and name them the Marco Rios Tennis Center.

The Savoy

Several characters came through the Savoy this week. The energy there was building toward something. Michael James Scott, who plays the Genie in Aladdin on Broadway, is set to perform there, and the anticipation around that was in the air. The performance itself is coming next week.

Molly and Cody

Molly got her book tour dates, and Cody said he would come along as her roadie without hesitation. She mentioned that she and Jordan used to be close before things got complicated, and Cody encouraged her to reach out. They also had an honest conversation about intimacy and what her endometriosis has meant for her physically. Cody handled it carefully, making sure she knew he was not willing to push past anything that hurt her. Molly had been managing that on her own for a long time, and having someone actually ask the question meant something.

Isaiah, Kai, and Derek

Isaiah asked Kai to visit a young patient named Derek, a kid who needs a liver transplant and whose entire vision for his future involves playing quarterback at PCU someday. Derek knew every one of Kai's stats before Kai had said a word, and the visit clearly meant a lot to him. Kai told Isaiah afterward that spending time with Derek reminded him of what it felt like to actually make a difference for someone, and he asked if he could go back.

Nothing on screen pointed toward what might come next. But Derek needs a liver, Kai is young and healthy, and a living donor only needs to give a portion. Shannon and Amanda are already wondering whether that door might open somewhere down the road.

Port Charles Pipeline

Two messages came in this week worth sharing.

Andrea, one of the fan spotlight guests from a couple of years back, wrote in to say she is still listening every week and would love to see a Pier 54 fan trip or cruise happen. Shannon and Amanda have been kicking around ideas, including a potential recording trip to a resort with a podcast studio. Nothing is booked yet, but the conversation is very much alive.

Kim wrote in ahead of the Lucy 411 to share a write-up she had put together, with Lucy's history updated through January. She is a hard pass on anything involving a boat, but she is in for a beach house, glamping in the Berkshires, or even a trip to an outlet mall with drinks at Chili's. She also mentioned being glad to see Ethan back and floated the idea of him and Joss as a potential pairing down the road.
