In 1999, General Hospital’s Chloe Morgan had about a month to get married or lose Chloe Morgan Designs. Ned Ashton volunteered, Alexis Davis signed off, and Jax suggested Vegas. Then Aunt Gertrude walked into the chapel, and Jax and Alexis ended up married instead. Here is how the Ned, Chloe, Jax, and Alexis marriage swap started, and why Pier 54 keeps bringing it up.

Alexis Davis arrived on General Hospital in September 1996 as Stefan Cassadine's cousin and attorney. Part 1 of the Pier 54 Alexis Davis 411 covers 1996 and 1997, including Kevin Collins' case, Monica Quartermaine's sexual harassment trial against Dr. Pierce Dorman, Ned Ashton's testimony, the night Katherine Bell was shot on Spoon Island, and the plan Alexis put together to get Katherine out of Stefan's life.

Before Ricky Martin was a solo star, he was Miguel Morez singing for L&B Records in Port Charles. Pier 54 looks at the General Hospital actors with real music careers, including Rick Springfield, Jack Wagner, Wally Kurth, Jonathan Jackson, Scott Reeves, James Patrick Stuart, and Tabyana Ali, plus the guest stars who played GH, from Sammy Davis Jr. to B.B. King at Luke's.

Rena Sofer joins Pier 54, A General Hospital Fan Podcast to talk about returning to General Hospital as Lois Cerullo. She shares behind-the-scenes stories, how the show has changed since the ’90s, her dynamic with Brook Lynn, and fan-favorite moments longtime viewers will love.

The verdict came in, but the conversations around it did the most damage. This week in Port Charles was heavy in a quiet way — and a lot shifted.
