General Hospital Recap: June 8-12, 2026

Laura, Sonny, and Lucas Take Down Sidwell
Laura shut down Sidwell's helipad and flight path, making the call official while she and Sonny waited for him at the Metro Court Garden. When Sidwell arrived, she made it clear his access to Port Charles airspace was finished. He threatened to back Ezra in the next mayoral race. She told him to go ahead.
Sonny noted they had not pushed Sidwell this hard before and were not sure yet how he would retaliate.
At the Marco Rios Tennis Center construction site, Lucas had called Sidwell there under the pretense of showing him the progress. When Sidwell arrived, he confronted Lucas directly, accusing him of stealing compromising photos of Laura and Sonny. Lucas confirmed he had taken them, told Sidwell what he was doing was wrong, and said he had decided to help stop it. When Lucas tried to walk away, Sidwell drew his gun. He asked whether Lucas had really loved Marco. Then he shot him three times in the chest.
Lucas survived. He had been wearing a vest. Dante and officers moved in immediately after the shooting, and Sidwell was arrested. Laura ran to Lucas. Cassius was transporting Sidwell when Sidwell told him to pull over. He told Cassius that if he believed Sidwell's disappearance would free his family from its arrangement with Cullum, he should think again. Sidwell then demanded that Cassius hand over his gun, and Sidwell walked away free.
Dante later questioned Cassius, who was still presenting as Nathan at the PCPD, about what happened during the transport. Turner pulled Chase off the case entirely, telling him she did not want anyone questioning whether it had been handled correctly given his connection to the people involved.
Lucas came to the PCPD to give his statement. ADA Turner took over the interview from Chase and questioned him in the interrogation room. She was direct about wanting the case handled cleanly and made clear that Sonny's involvement complicated things. Sonny arrived and told her what she needed to know. He pointed out there was only one version of the truth, and she had asked for it.
Josslyn and Liesl at Wyndemere
Cullum arrived at the Wyndemere basement after bringing Liesl Obrecht in unconscious and was genuinely shocked to find Josslyn already there. He had not been told. He made clear he was unhappy about it, told Josslyn she should not get comfortable, and left.
When Liesl came around, she was groggy but got up to speed quickly. Josslyn told her about the cold fusion project, about Britt being forced to work on it in exchange for her Huntington's medication, and showed her Anna's message on the wall. She also told Liesl she was a WSB agent. Liesl was surprised by that, and more disappointed in herself than anything else. Given how many pointed questions Josslyn had been asking about Faison, she felt she should have seen it.
She was confused about why Britt had never gotten help from Nathan. Josslyn was about to tell her the truth when Cassius came in.
Cassius confirmed to Liesl directly that he was not Nathan. He told her he was her son's twin and that he was alive because Madeline had arranged it. Liesl had believed the second baby was stillborn, which was what Madeline had told her. She had never seen him and only had Madeline's word that he had died. Cassius told her that Madeline had taken him and given him to Faison. Liesl asked where Nathan was and learned he had really died. She sat with that for a moment, describing it as losing her son all over again. She slapped Cassius for what he had done to Britt and James. Josslyn stood up for him, telling Liesl that Cassius had not been a willing participant in the arrangement with Cullum and Sidwell, that he had worked to protect Britt, and that she and Britt owed him their lives.
Cullum came downstairs with a knife, intending to deal with Josslyn. Cassius stopped him. Liesl confronted Cassius over involving Britt in the project. Cassius told them he had no real allegiance to Cullum or Sidwell, that he had been given oversight of Faison's operations when Faison died, and that he had been working inside those constraints ever since. He had told Cullum upstairs that Liesl meant nothing to him, though what he actually intends is not something he made clear to Josslyn and Liesl.
Cullum made another move toward Josslyn later in the week. Cassius physically stopped him again, and Liesl stepped in as well.
Brook Lynn, Willow, and the Frame Job
Brook Lynn ran into Willow at Bobbie's, coming in as Willow was leaving. Willow made a comment about not wanting to cause more conflict, and Brook Lynn followed her out and suggested they clear the air. She apologized, hugged her, and said she was grateful for everything Willow had done during the situation with Phoebe. Willow took it at face value.
Lucy had been outside, just around the corner, and had seen the whole thing. She asked Brook Lynn what she was doing. Brook Lynn explained. Lucy told her it was exactly the right move.
Brook Lynn then met with Sonny and asked for an introduction to Brick, telling him it was personal but would not take much of Brick's time. Sonny told her Brick already knew who she was. After he left, Brook Lynn reached Brick directly. Later, Lucy found Brook Lynn again, and that was when Brook Lynn told her the specifics: because of where Willow lives on Harbor View Road and the fact that she drives a black SUV, they could alter GPS data to make it look like Willow had been near the scene of Jordan's accident that night. She had someone who could manipulate the footage, and she did not want to bring Spinelli into it.
Willow showed up at the Quartermaine boathouse later in the week. She said Wiley had texted her. Tracy told her that was not what happened. Tracy had sent the text herself, using Wiley's name to get Willow down there.
The confrontation that followed covered a lot of ground. Tracy called out Willow's behavior directly, including shooting Drew and using the household to protect herself. Willow brought up Ned being raised by nannies as a dig at Tracy's parenting, though Willow's own kids are also raised by nannies. Tracy told her she was not a victim of anything. When Willow said she would take a bullet for her kids, Tracy answered: "Or put two in somebody's back."
Tracy grabbed Willow's arm. Willow saw Chase coming down to the dock and threw herself into the lake. Her first account was that Tracy had pushed her. The moment Tracy said otherwise, Willow walked it back and called it losing her footing. Chase told Tracy she was under arrest.
Curtis, Portia, and the Baby Shower
Curtis stopped by the hospital to check in with Jordan before the shower. He was considering not going if she did not want to attend. She talked him into it.
Earlier in the week, Isaiah had met with Teri and the hospital board. He was told he could remain on staff in a consulting and surgical capacity, but his recovery will take months before anyone knows the full extent of his limitations.
The shower was at the Metro Court. Guests included Liz, Felicia, Tracy, Stella, Ava, and Nina, who dropped off a gift and left early. The baby's first word was one of the guessing games, with guests writing down their picks. Liz wrote "no." Tracy wrote "tax shelter." Ava wrote "Trina." Isaiah, who had arrived saying there was nowhere else he would rather be, wrote "dada." Curtis raised his hand for the same word. The room went quiet.
Isaiah had already made pointed comments throughout the event about his role in Portia's life and the baby's, and Curtis had been holding himself together. The dada moment broke it. Portia told Curtis at some point that keeping Trina away from him had been a gift to Trina. That was when Trina left. Stella, standing right there for the whole thing, publicly told Curtis she had given him too much credit. Jordan stepped in to support Curtis. Portia cut formal ties with him before the day was over, telling him the OB would contact him about ultrasound appointments going forward.
Trina spent time with Kai and her friends after leaving the shower and made the decision to stop organizing her life around her parents' problems. She had put off recording time to manage their obligations. She said she should have made that call months ago.
Kristina Heads to Medical School
Kristina told Lucas early in the week she was leaving and would not be there for the tennis center opening. She asked for his help managing things while she was gone and pitched him on stepping in. He agreed to check in on the site and take the occasional meeting.
Later in the week, Kristina called Sonny and Alexis together at Alexis's home to tell them she had gotten into medical school. They did not know she had been considering it. She explained she had been drawn to medicine after everything she and Molly had gone through, had taken the MCAT, and applied to several schools. She chose UCLA. She told them she was leaving the next day. Alexis thought it was fast. Sonny told her he was proud of her.
She had already found a manager for Charlie's.
She met Molly and Michael at the Metro Court patio to say goodbye. She told them they needed to lean on each other while she was gone, and she made sure they could by sharing what each of them was dealing with. She told Michael about Molly's situation and told Molly about Michael's, giving each of them the context to actually show up for the other in her absence.
Ethan and the Adoption
Ethan met with Alexis to discuss the adoption terms. Brook Lynn and Chase wanted the records to be open so Phoebe could know her biological father. Ethan said no. It was a closed adoption or nothing. He was willing to acknowledge that Phoebe should have information about Delilah, but his own identity as her father stays sealed. Alexis reminded him that Phoebe is a Spencer. He said the Spencers would understand.
Later in the week, Ethan dressed as a police officer and went to the PCPD, where he accessed an evidence box and took something from it. What he was after was not shown on screen.
Valentin told Charlotte to stay away from Danny. His concern was that Danny makes rash decisions and that with Jason's situation drawing attention, being around him was not safe. Charlotte said she understood and that she did not want to leave her mother anyway.
She met up with Danny regardless. He wanted to go to Wyndemere that night. Charlotte pointed out there were too many police at the scene following Sidwell's arrest and told him his timing made no sense. She was not ruling it out, just telling him to wait.
Willow and Brennan
Brennan was at Turning Woods recovering when Nina brought him a cheeseburger. She had decided to add pickles. When she returned with it, she walked in on Willow, who had a syringe nearly at Drew's line. Brennan stopped her and told her he had a better option: proof that Drew had misappropriated funds from the Esplanade project to finance his congressional run. That would give Willow real leverage without another dose. Nina and Willow both pushed back on the timeline. Brennan said one more dose might be enough. He followed through later in the week, passing Willow documentation of the campaign finance violations.
Meanwhile, Liz and Felicia talked at the baby shower. Liz raised the question of whether something environmental at the Quartermaine property could explain both Drew and Brennan having strokes in the same house. Felicia pushed back on that.
Nina checked in on Cassius after Sidwell's arrest, asking how he was doing. The conversation raised questions about how much Cassius has told her.
Ava, Carly, and Cullum at Wyndemere
Ava arrived at Wyndemere and was still there when Carly showed up. Carly had learned from Ava that Sidwell had been arrested for the attempted murder of Lucas. Ava told Carly she was not sure she had helped matters when she had suggested to Carly that someone with a romantic connection to Marco could have been involved in his death, and she made clear she had never meant Lucas. While Carly and Cullum were talking, a member of the household staff brought in a ring found in the living room. Cullum said it likely belonged to one of the Deception women who had visited. Carly recognized it as Josslyn's and said nothing. After Cullum left the room, she took the ring and left. She told Valentin that Josslyn was at Wyndemere.
Port Charles Pipeline
Two messages came in this week.
Cheri wrote in with a lot to say. She had flagged that Cullum would find Josslyn, and he did. She noted that the cold fusion project had been about the formula all along and that the larger purpose behind it still was not fully clear. She also pointed out that no one had done a DNA test to confirm Ethan is Phoebe's father, and that there could be more to his story. She mentioned that the nurse who heard voices outside Brennan's room at Turning Woods was Finn Carr, Rocco's real-life brother. She also expressed hope for a pardon for Valentin if he helps bring down Cullum and Sidwell.

Reality Check
Shannon went to a Pirates game with her company last week. She and her husband stayed downtown after the game and made a spontaneous trip to IKEA the next morning to look at countertops, their first visit together. He had never been.
Amanda went to the zoo with Matt, Julie, Ryan, and Madeline, which she noted required some personal growth. Penguins were the highlight. Matt has loved them since he was little and had the same reaction as an adult that he had as a kid. On Saturday, the whole group, plus Megan, went to see the movie Obsession. Amanda had no idea who the lead actress was but was impressed with her performance. Shannon pointed out that Darin Toonder was also in it, which Amanda had apparently missed entirely.
