This week on General Hospital (February 23–27) brought major movement across multiple storylines in Port Charles, with shifting alliances, relationship turning points, and several plots increasingly connected through Sidwell’s growing influence.

The week opened with continued fallout surrounding Britt and the dangerous position she finds herself in under Sidwell’s control. Britt is being pressured to complete research connected to work originally started by her father, Cesar Faison, while her access to medication that manages her Huntington’s disease is tightly controlled. After learning that Marco is aware of what Sidwell is doing, Lucas confronts Britt and offers to help. Although she warns him to stay out of the situation for his own safety, Lucas becomes determined to find a way to free her from Sidwell’s leverage. As the week progresses, he proposes obtaining a sample of her medication so it can be reverse-engineered. Britt considers taking matters into her own hands, but Lucas instead appeals directly to Marco, asking him to help secure a vial despite the risks involved if its absence is discovered.

Jason and Sonny continue trying to understand the larger threat surrounding Sidwell and WSB official Callum, connecting recent events—including past attacks and ongoing manipulation—to a broader scheme still unfolding. Jason remains particularly concerned about Britt’s safety as they attempt to determine who can be trusted.

At Deception, Maxie returns to work following her recovery and quickly learns the company’s situation has changed significantly during her absence. After the earlier incident in which contaminated face cream caused her to collapse during a live Home and Heart appearance, Sidwell was brought in to stabilize operations and has since secured a five-year contract overseeing key business functions. Maxie immediately questions the arrangement and pushes back, unaware that Sidwell himself orchestrated the original product sabotage that damaged the company’s reputation.

Maxie’s personal life also reaches an emotional turning point. She and Nathan meet at the cemetery, where they acknowledge their shared past and the love they will always have for one another, but ultimately accept that their lives have moved forward. Maxie later reaffirms her relationship with Spinelli. Following this, Nathan asks Lulu to give their relationship a chance. By the end of the week, Nathan and Lulu agree to explore a relationship, recognizing that Maxie will need to be informed.

Political developments take center stage as Willow steps into her new role as congresswoman. During her first interview with Lulu, Willow struggles to articulate policy positions, prompting Nina to step in and reference priorities associated with Drew’s previous platform. Drew, meanwhile, remains incapacitated at home while Sidwell visits him and confirms his involvement in the circumstances keeping Drew unable to communicate. Willow expresses a desire to establish independence and move forward in her new role, signaling a shift in her personal and professional direction.

Elsewhere, Sonny and District Attorney Justine navigate the aftermath of an unexpected kiss, each confiding separately in trusted allies while acknowledging the professional complications involved. Michael and Chase’s tensions escalate following developments tied to Drew’s shooting investigation, creating strain within their shared household and raising concerns about how ongoing conflicts could affect future plans. Brooklyn confronts Chase about his continued involvement in the case, emphasizing the impact his actions could have on their stability.

Family dynamics also evolve as Trina and Portia begin repairing their relationship after a difficult period, helped along by a conversation with Isaiah that encourages Trina to reconsider her perspective. Their reconciliation culminates as they share the special  moment of feeling the baby kick.

Throughout the week, many storylines continue to intersect through Sidwell’s expanding reach, leaving several characters unknowingly connected to the same larger threat. As alliances shift and secrets remain unresolved, Port Charles heads into the next week with multiple relationships changed and several high-stakes situations still building.
