General Hospital Recap: October 26-30, 2026
We're in the top five of the Top Host competition, so please vote for us every day, with double votes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This week in Port Charles brought a quickie divorce, a stranger at the Quartermaine door asking for Phoebe, a dog with a very unwelcome find, and a batch of cupcakes that nearly turned into something more for Dante and Elizabeth. Trina's biggest fan finally showed up in person, too. Shannon and Amanda break it all down on this week's Pier 54. Watch the full episode below, or listen on Spotify or find us on your favorite podcast player.
Dante and Elizabeth in the Kitchen
Elizabeth had 60 cupcakes to make for the community center, and Dante came over to help. He teased her about the canned frosting, and she admitted she hadn't baked since Aiden took over the bake sales. Dante apologized for Lulu dragging Liz into her article, which already had a reporter calling. Then Liz got frosting in her hair, Dante wiped it away, and the two of them locked eyes.
The doorbell broke the moment. Dante offered to take the cupcakes to the community center so Liz could stay home and hand out candy, and their hands touched before he left. Lucas arrived with a bottle of wine and wanted to know what had just happened. Liz admitted she wanted to kiss Dante but said she's happy with Ric and the feeling probably wasn't mutual. Lucas didn't buy it. When Ric arrived later, Liz greeted him with a kiss.
Was Dante feeling it too? Shannon has a firm answer, and JD made a call of his own before Friday's episode aired.
Brook Lynn and Chase Sign the Papers
In the Dominican Republic, Chase put down the pen and said he didn't want a divorce. Brook Lynn didn't either, but they agreed they couldn't make it work, signed, and settled on splitting time with Phoebe evenly. They flew home on separate flights. Chase sat on the beach as flashbacks played over Josh Swickard singing "All I Want Is Forever," the song Chase once sang to Brook Lynn, and buried his ring in the sand.
Back home, Brook Lynn told Tracy she was done mourning. At Aurora Wellness, Chase told Dante the marriage ended when Brook Lynn's family pushed Lulu to write about Willow. Dante said Chase had lost everything defending a woman who manipulates everyone, including him. Britt overheard and took the news to Willow, then reminded her that everything in Lulu's article was true.
Chase later brought Wiley's football to the gatehouse and told Willow he's moving into the Metro Court until he finds a place for himself and Phoebe. He urged her not to drop her lawsuit against Lulu.
Jude Jacks Comes for Phoebe
The man Britt knew as Crackerjack showed up at the Quartermaine door and told Brook Lynn he was there to see his daughter. He introduced himself as Jude Jacks and said he meant Phoebe. After he left, Brook Lynn held Phoebe and promised she and Chase would always be there, then went to tell Chase. Jason, who once shot Jude's father Jerry a few times, figured Jude wouldn't have come without something to back up his claim.
Jude went to Alexis next. He said he wanted a family and his friend Delilah went through IVF for him, and he has documentation. Alexis told him DNA testing was done, the biological father signed away his rights, and the records are sealed. Jude called Ethan a con man and asked for a paternity test, which Alexis said Brook Lynn and Chase would have to agree to. She couldn't represent him and asked him to leave the family alone. He asked if she would, if it were her daughter.
Jason asked Josslyn about Jude. She has never met him, but Jax warned her Jude is just like Jerry and did something Jax couldn't forgive. Joss plans to check whether Jude appears in Jax's estate plans, and Jason isn't letting her do it alone.
Deception Comes Under ELQ
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy and Brook Lynn revealed that a Deception meeting was really a vote to bring the company under ELQ. Lucy asked Jason to remember what she and Alan meant to each other, and Serena asked him to prove he had integrity. Jason voted with Tracy and Brook Lynn, saying the financials showed Deception was on the brink of collapse. Lucy told Brook Lynn she finally got her revenge and told Jason he was a Quartermaine after all.
The Search for Brennan
Lulu asked Carly and Valentin for help proving the WSB has a drug that mimics locked in syndrome. Both agreed Willow drugged Drew, and Carly called Valentin out for already knowing about the drug.
Baines told Dante the WSB may have rushed to judgment about Nina. Joe asked to open a PCPD case anyway, and Dante agreed. Joe's first suspect is Ava. Ava asked Lucas to put in a good word with Joe, and when Lucas did, Joe called it a red flag and pointed out that Ava was the last person seen with Brennan. After Baines approached Ava at the hospital, Portia warned her to watch her back with Drew.
Ava hired Alexis. "Who did you kill this time?" Alexis asked. Ava said she slipped Brennan a sleeping pill from Drew the night he disappeared so Drew could search his room, and she aligned with Drew because Sonny keeps threatening to take Avery. She wants full immunity in exchange for evidence against Drew.
Baines brought Nina coffee and a croissant and told her the WSB is reopening the case and looking at other suspects, including Willow.
Carly, Valentin, and Outback
Metro Court security footage showed Ava with Brennan in the restaurant, Brennan leaving alone, and the cameras going out right after. Carly realized a body could have been moved in a laundry cart, and a bellhop had found one in the garage the next morning. After Joe questioned her and she sent him to her lawyer, Carly pulled the footage again and spotted Charlotte and Danny at the hotel that night.
Danny told Carly and Valentin that he and Charlotte went up to the pool for one last swim and found Brennan floating face down. They took the stairs, almost ran into Ava and Drew, and left. Then Outback trotted in with a finger. Carly and Valentin followed him to the nature preserve, where Carly tripped and came face to face with a hand missing a finger.
Danny, Rocco, and Scout
At the stables, Jason asked Danny how he'd feel about Rocco helping with the chores. Rocco showed up, and so did Scout, who turned out to be there to meet Rocco. They kissed, and Danny saw them.
Danny told Scout that Rocco was taking advantage of her loneliness, and she left to meet her dad. He told Rocco it was twisted, since they were practically siblings when Sam was around. Rocco said he and Scout aren't related. "Close enough," Danny said. He agreed not to tell Drew, but only if Rocco stops seeing Scout.
At dinner, Drew brought up the anniversary of Sam's death and asked Scout to think of a happy Halloween memory, because Sam would want the holiday to bring her joy again.
Drew, Willow, and Curtis
Drew hopped the fence at the Quartermaine estate to offer Willow a united front against Lulu's article. Jason walked in as Drew said they had a deal and walked him off the property. Jason warned Willow that contact with Drew undercuts her truce with Michael, and that the Quartermaines will meet her halfway if she makes things easy.
Drew offered to help with Curtis's appeal through a Banner article by Kevin Buchanan, and he asked Portia to help too. She agreed to talk to the press, as long as Curtis respects her relationship with Isaiah once he's out. Gio asked Curtis and then Dante whether Sonny could be innocent. Curtis still believes Sonny is responsible, and Dante told Gio the only heart that will break when he's proven wrong is his own. Sonny went to Alexis, who stopped him before he could claim he was innocent. He promised to prove it.
Trina's Biggest Fan
At the Cat's Eye Lounge, Trina found more flowers from her biggest fan. Emma and Trina told Kai and Gio about the third bouquet, the name Alan Smith, and the fan website. Then Patty from the lounge told them the night was a private show for an audience of one and threatened to sue if they walked out. Trina wouldn't let Gio perform alone, so they all stayed. After the first song, the audience of one walked in clapping. It was Heather Webber.
Anna's Breakthrough
Valentin joined Anna's therapy session. Anna said she was tasked with contacting Faison, but Valentin said she went after him on her own. She admitted she was ambitious and used Valentin's feelings for her. Valentin told her she was 19 and in over her head, and she wasn't responsible for Faison's crimes. With the therapist's help, Anna said it wasn't her fault and told Valentin she was glad he came.
Quick Notes
Lulu's lawsuit. Ric plans to drag out Willow's case, but Lulu can't wait with a lawsuit hanging over her job search. He told her to find proof that doesn't rest on a convicted felon. Dante asked her to retract for Lucas and Liz's sake, and she stood by her story.
Lucy's house pitch. Lucy tried to sell Willow on a five bedroom house. Willow wasn't interested, and Lucy suspected she wanted to stay close to Chase.
Port Charles Pipeline
Lisa pointed out that if Michael hadn't kept the ELQ jet in Germany, Brook Lynn and Chase wouldn't have flown commercial, and they wouldn't have had that time to talk.
Cheri, who has sent two of her own kids far from home, ran the numbers on Liz's boys. Barcelona and Paris are each about seven hours from JFK, while a California school is the longest trip home. She also caught Ava calling Lucas her only nephew, when Leo is Julian's son too.
Michael Booth wrote in from his classroom of fifth graders. He has been voting for us in Top Host, recognized Joe's actor as a Halloween Wars host, and shared that some weeks our recap is his first look at a storyline. We get it, and life comes first.
Speaking of Top Host, Pier 54 made the top ten and placed fifth this week. You can vote every day, and Tuesdays and Thursdays count double.

Reality Check
Amanda had a quieter week driving Madeline around. Her cousin was in town, and she planned a celebration at Matt and Julie's for Julie's birthday with takeout, cake, and a fire while handing out candy. Ryan and Matt also had a guys' day at the Penguins game.
Shannon's daughter worked double shifts at the coffee trailer, including a trunk or treat and an elementary school Halloween party, and she's proud of putting in real adult hours. Shannon joined five families from her yoga class at the Pittsburgh Zoo's Jack-O-Lantern Extravaganza. Her new Galaxy White quartz countertops and smart workstation sink went in, so she's finally moving back
into her kitchen after two months.
This Thursday on the Port Charles 411
This week's Port Charles 411 goes back to the Black and White Ball. Shannon had never watched the storyline before, and it was a fun one to relive.
