General Hospital Recap: May 26-29, 2026

Dante, Lulu, and the Search for Rocco

The week opened at the PCPD, where Dante had Chase Harrison and Joe Fitzpatrick running down every lead. Rocco and Britt's phones had been found in the GH parking lot, passports were flagged, and a warrant for Britt's apartment was in process. When Chase asked about a possible alias, Lulu told him Rocco had a fake passport under the name Tyler Anderson. Dante covered for her, saying Britt had arranged it.

At Bobbie's, Cassius told Liesl he and Lulu had broken up. Joe came in with the warrant and sent the two of them to the station. Once there, Liesl blamed Lulu immediately, telling her that keeping Rocco and "his mother" apart had only pushed them closer together. In the interrogation room, Cassius pressed Liesl for anything she knew about where Britt might have gone. She knew about Britt's Huntington's. She also sensed Cassius was holding something back.

Charlotte and Danny came to the station, and Charlotte showed Dante and Lulu a video Rocco had sent to her school email. Rocco said he had to fight Britt to get her to take him. It was his choice. He signed off with "not all who wander are lost." Lulu recognized the phrase immediately. She had given him that code when he was small to mean he was safe and had not been taken against his will. She apologized to Dante for everything she had kept from him. They agreed to work together.

On Tuesday, Sonny and Laura were already meeting about Britt's tip. Britt had told Sonny that Sidwell had killed Professor Dalton and that Pascal had cleaned up evidence of the crime. The plan: get Pascal to turn on Sidwell and hand over the photos from Dalton's murder. They debated using Ava or Lucy to get close to Pascal, then Sonny remembered that Lucas was living at Wyndemere. Because of his history with Lucas, Sonny suggested Laura be the one to reach out. She agreed. Then she got the call from Lulu about Rocco. Sonny connected the dots: Britt's urgency, the timing of her leaving. She had been trying to tell him something before she ran. With Britt gone, Laura wondered whether Sidwell still posed the same threat. Sonny was not ready to answer that.

On Wednesday, Sonny came to Dante and Lulu's house and told them directly: if they went looking for Rocco, they would lead Cullum right to him. He had hired Brick to find Rocco and Britt. Lulu agreed to let Sonny handle it. Earlier that day, Sonny had called Gio to Pozzulo's. Gio still felt guilty for going to Dante instead of Rocco. Sonny told him he had done the right thing and that brothers find their way back.

Sidwell and Ava

On Tuesday, Sidwell received Marco's autopsy but couldn't bring himself to open it. He told Ava it haunted him that Marco had been betrayed by someone he knew. When he raised the possibility that Lucas could have been responsible, Ava shut it down. Pascal came in. Ava advised Sidwell not to read the report yet. He asked Pascal to put it in the safe.

Later in the week, Sidwell learned Britt's car had been found but not Britt. He made it clear on a phone call that he wanted her found immediately.

Carly and Lucas

At Bobbie's on Tuesday, Carly begged Lucas to move out of Wyndemere. Lucas told her he had come around on Britt, and that Marco had been trying to help him with something when he was killed. He felt he owed it to Marco to see it through. Carly promised that if Sidwell became suspicious, she would do whatever it took to protect him.

Ric and Elizabeth

On Wednesday, Ric rushed to GH after hearing Britt had locked Elizabeth in a room. He found her resting with an ice pack on her head.

Elizabeth told him Dante had come to her rescue and had been confiding in her about Rocco's situation. She said he was such a good man and father. Ric asked, "And Lulu too?" Elizabeth gave a quiet yes and closed her eyes. Ric's concern shifted in a direction that had nothing to do with her head.

Kristina

On Tuesday, Alexis asked Molly and Kristina to help reach Danny, who had been breaking rules and asking Sonny for work. Outside afterward, Kristina got a notification. She had applied to UCLA medical school in secret and been accepted.

Molly dragged her into Bobbie's and announced it to the room. When they sat down, Kristina explained that losing baby Adela had inspired her to apply. She had studied every spare moment without telling anyone. On Wednesday, she told Molly she wasn't sure she could go through with it. She had never finished anything. Molly walked her back through what she had actually seen through and told her she believed the baby's memory would push her to finish. Kristina wasn't convinced. But she was listening.

Curtis, Isaiah, and the Fallout

On Wednesday, ADA Justine Turner reviewed the situation with Portia and Isaiah ahead of Curtis's arraignment. Portia said Curtis had goaded Isaiah. Isaiah's broken hand left his surgical career in limbo, and a young patient named Derek now needed to be transferred to Chicago for a specialist to perform a complex liver transplant. Justine told Curtis and Jordan that felony assault and battery charges would be filed. Curtis was certain the case would not go far.

Trina visited to get her father's side. Curtis pointed to the paint evidence and Isaiah's black BMW. Jordan told Trina she believed Curtis would be okay. Isaiah ran into Kai that day and told him it would be Curtis's fault if Derek didn't get his liver.

On Thursday, Portia confronted Curtis at his office. She told him Isaiah might never operate again. Curtis held his position. Portia warned him that if she testified, she would tell the truth. She also told him that if he was vetoing Isaiah from the baby's life, she would keep Jordan away from the baby. The conversation did not end well.

Trina told Gio at Bobbie's on Thursday that she was thinking about canceling the showcase. Gio talked her out of it, telling her cutting music out of his own life had been a mistake and that she should use it to carry herself through. Trina decided to go ahead. What happens at the showcase is worth hearing the full conversation on.

Willow, Drew, Sidwell, and Chase

On Thursday, Willow told Drew she was working on something to free them both and that she intended to keep the congressional seat. She couldn't stop the injections yet because she needed leverage over Drew first.

Sidwell arrived at her request. She wanted to stop dosing Drew. Sidwell told her that it was fine. They would just kill Drew instead. Willow refused. Sidwell, distracted by Britt's disappearance, told her to figure it out, praised her WSB funding work in Congress, and left.

Alone, Willow broke down. Chase knocked a short time later with Amelia's stuffed rabbit, Mr. Snuggles, left at the Quartermaine house. He could see she was upset. She told him she felt trapped and didn't want to be married to Drew anymore.

On Friday, the conversation went further. Willow told Chase she didn't love Drew, regretted the marriage, and was ashamed of having cheated on him with Michael. Chase told her it had worked out because her leaving led him to Brook Lynn and Phoebe. He encouraged her to trust herself to navigate it until Drew recovered, then she could leave. They hugged.

Brook Lynn arrived at the window in time to see the embrace. She rang the doorbell, delivered the gift, made small talk, and made a point of saying how lucky she was to have such a supportive partner. Once Chase left for the station, she told Willow plainly: if she tried anything with Chase, Brook Lynn would destroy her.

Brook Lynn, Michael, and the Car

On Thursday, Chase moved Brook Lynn's car and came back asking why she hadn't mentioned something was wrong with it. He'd heard a rattle. Tracy said she would handle it. Michael had already overheard Tracy on the phone arguing with a BMW dealership about a rattle that had apparently been there for weeks.

On Friday, Michael laid out his theory to Jacinda. He believed Brook Lynn was the driver who hit Curtis and Jordan. If Chase found out, he'd turn away from Brook Lynn and toward Willow; the scandal would cost Willow her congressional seat, and Michael would hold the leverage.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Portia came to the Quartermaine house to ask for help transporting Derek to Chicago for surgery. Brook Lynn immediately volunteered to pay. Tracy pulled her aside afterward and told her she was giving herself away.

Valentin and Carly

On Friday, Valentin called Carly out for avoiding him. She told him she couldn't depend on him if he was ready to drop everything to go find Anna while Josslyn was still missing. Valentin said he would shut down his work at Wyndemere and move out.

Charlotte stopped by a short time later, feeling responsible for Rocco leaving because she had been so focused on helping Danny with his father. Carly told her she couldn't hold herself responsible for Rocco's choices. Valentin came downstairs, told Charlotte to listen to Carly and stay safe, and saw her out.

Carly and Valentin both apologized. Carly said she shouldn't have put expectations on their situationship. Valentin grabbed her hand as she walked away and told her he had developed genuine feelings for her. He didn't know what the future looked like, but wanted her in it. She kissed him.

Ethan, Tracy, and the Gallery

On Friday at the boathouse, Ethan told Tracy he blamed himself for Rocco leaving since he had secured the fake passport. Their conversation turned to business. He proposed she hire him for her "nuanced dealings." Tracy agreed, bringing him on to make sure nothing interfered with Chase and Brook Lynn adopting Phoebe.

That same day, Ava and Alexis flew to New York on the Quartermaine jet and went to the Hammet Gallery in Manhattan to ask about Delilah Wilson, Phoebe's birth mother. The owner, Apollo, played by Maxwell Caulfield, said he hadn't known much about her personal life and hadn't known she was pregnant. When Ava and Alexis stepped away briefly, Apollo slipped out and called Ethan to warn him. When they returned, Ava offered a financial reward from the Quartermaine family. Apollo came around and showed them a photo from a showcase Delilah had curated. Ethan was in the photo with her. Ava and Alexis held their composure and said nothing that gave them away.

Quick Notes

At Bobbie's on Wednesday, Kai told Emma he was worried the Ashford family chaos might affect Trina and the showcase. After Kai left, Gio told Emma about Rocco and Britt. Emma initially blamed Britt. Gio said he had to have faith in his brother.

Molly and Cody had some time alone at Alexis's house on Thursday. Alexis's assistant Suzanne came by to drop off files and quickly worked out that Cody was the inspiration for the character Casey in Molly's book. After she left, Cody told Molly he didn't mind if her readers knew.

Port Charles Pipeline

First message this week from J. Watson, a newer listener who wanted to go on record about Britt. Their read: she has no right to take Rocco twice, she's endangering him, and claiming to care while putting him in the line of fire is selfish. Shannon and Amanda had to admit they had spent more time on the Dante and Lulu debate than actually evaluating Britt's choices. They also noted Britt tried hard to push Rocco away, that Rocco kept seeking her out, and that she may have more intel on Cullum's movements than anyone in Port Charles right now.

From Holly, weighing in on the Dante debate: Dante never said he intended to post surveillance to protect Rocco. He said it to make sure Lulu wouldn't run. Holly sided with Amanda. Holly also had a question about the drug being used on Drew and Jack. Shannon and Amanda were not going to be helpful on that one.

From Louise, a note that Vernon Weaver, who plays Wiley, is the lead in a Dhar Mann video. She sent the link and it sounded worth watching.

From Yvonne, subject line "Amanda's right," backing Amanda's read that Dante was controlling the situation rather than protecting Rocco. Shannon pointed out that both Dante and Lulu on screen this week seemed to vindicate her. Amanda responded that Lulu is delusional and does not get a vote.

Also this week: a listener who tracks podcast rankings sent in an unprompted report. Pier 54 is ranking number one in TV and Film in the Bahamas, number one in after shows in the Bahamas, 52nd in after shows in Canada, 70th in after shows in the US, 204th in Australia, and 207th in Taiwan. Shannon had initially snoozed the email thinking it was a Pipeline message. Amanda's suggestion: a meetup in the Bahamas.

Reality Check

Amanda's daughter Madeline finished her last day of school this week. The other story involved work. A dad she recognized from Girl Scouts came through the garden center with a long line behind him. He got impatient a few people back and started pressing Amanda about the wait. When he looked up and saw who he was talking to, he went back to the end of the line and chose a different cashier on the way out. Amanda says she did not feel bad. She'd like everyone to remember that cashiers are doing their best and the registers have their own opinions.

Shannon's week involved a jackhammer and a concrete slab. She and JD are building a sunroom and first had to clear the old concrete stoop. JD was told not to drive for a couple of days, so Shannon handled most of the jackhammering herself. The man at the equipment rental place took one look at the situation and directed all his questions and instructions to Shannon for the rest of the transaction. JD was cleared to drive on Friday, and their first trip was over to visit Amanda at work.

This Thursday on the Port Charles 411

Thursday is part two of the Willow and Nina retrospective. Part one covered how thoroughly those two could not stand each other when Nina first came to Port Charles.
