Hi, Honey, I'm Home
General Hospital Recap: July 27-31, 2026

Drew Cain survived a trip into the lake and came home with a plan, Jason settled back into life in Port Charles after weeks away, and Ethan found his way into Ava's bed less than a week after debuting a new face. Marshall met his grandson for the first time, Willow's marriage to Drew ended in a standoff that had her dropping her wedding ring on the way out the door, and Serena Baldwin returned to Port Charles just in time for a fight over Deception. Nina, Drew, and the Lake
Willow had been Drew's caretaker at home for months while he remained locked in. She left Nina with him at the Quartermaine lakehouse. While there, Nina left a frantic voicemail for Brennan, asking him to call her back before she did something she could not take back. Drew then whispered to her, and Nina pushed his wheelchair into the lake, watched to see if he would resurface, then ran to find Brennan.
She found Brennan and told him what she had done. He asked if Drew was still in the chair, and she confirmed it. The two went looking for Drew and found Gio at the lake, who told them Drew had already been pulled from the water, was walking and talking, and had been driven home.
Willow's Reckoning
Earlier that same day, Chase had brought Willow in for questioning tied to her private meetings with Jenz Sidwell. Molly pressed her on whether Sidwell had bribed her; Willow maintained the meetings were about how his company's work intersected with public projects in Port Charles and left once Molly could not point to a specific accusation.
Willow went home afterward to gather a few things, telling Aunt Liesl on the phone she was grateful for the help with the kids. She spotted a footprint on the floor before the door slammed. Drew was standing there.
"Hi, honey, I'm home," he told her.
When she asked what he had done to Nina, he said nothing yet, and that he wanted to see his wife first. When she tried to explain herself, he cut her off and told her to put her phone down.
Drew laid out what he had endured: he helped convince the jury that Willow was innocent, only for her to drug him and keep him prisoner for months afterward, and then have her mother try to drown him. He told her he planned to tell Wiley and Amelia the truth himself, and that Michael would get full custody once they knew. Willow warned him that killing her would cost him everything he had just gotten back.
Brennan and Nina arrived before it went further. Nina wanted Brennan to shoot him. Brennan refused, and instead produced evidence against Drew: misappropriated campaign funds, a bribed nurse at the German burn clinic to keep her from talking to Michael, and a bribed judge who later turned up dead. He told Drew that exposing Willow and Nina would take Drew down too, and that the charges against him alone carried decades under the terms of his congressional contract.
Willow proposed a truce: divorce, no charges, Drew keeps the house and the money, and she disappears from his life. Nina added that Drew needed to leave Willow's political career alone, not interfere with her congressional seat, and not attempt to run for office himself again. Brennan noted he could release what he had on Drew at a moment's notice if the terms were not honored. Drew agreed. Willow dropped her wedding ring on the floor on her way out.
The next morning, Martin drove Drew to the hospital, where Felicia and Liz were stunned to see him walking with a cane. He told them he had realized he could talk, so he tried standing, and that worked too. He went straight to neurology for a full workup. Felicia told him Willow had been the real hero through his recovery; he said he was aware of everything she had done and was already thinking about how to thank her.
Liz noticed something felt off and called Willow directly. Willow confirmed she was already calling divorce lawyers.
Drew Reclaims Scout
Willow went to Alexis first, asking her to handle the divorce. Alexis declined, reminding Willow that Drew had paid for her legal representation the first time and that her priority was staying close to Scout.
After his hospital workup, Drew and Martin went to Alexis's separately to collect Scout. Martin told Alexis that letting Scout stay there, especially with Danny in the house, violated the restraining order still in effect. Alexis and Drew argued, with Alexis pointing out everything her family had done for Scout while he was locked in. Scout arrived home from practice moments later and ran to hug her father, surprised to see him standing.
Michael and Willow
Michael went to Willow's office, prepared to tell her he was taking the kids back full time now that Drew was mobile again and could not be trusted around them. Willow told him it would not be necessary, since keeping Drew away from Wiley and Amelia was part of why she and Drew were divorcing. Michael was surprised by the news. Willow used the moment to push for a 50/50 custody split. Michael refused, telling her the existing 60/40 arrangement in his favor stood unless she wanted to take it to court. She pointed to her congressional record and his own past as leverage if it came to that.
Michael later told Tracy about the visit. Tracy mentioned a bet she had made with Yuri over how long Willow's marriage would last; Yuri owed her fifty dollars. Michael said he expected Willow's focus would turn to either Chase next, since she was not likely to be on her own for long.
Jason Comes Home
Sonny and Carly were at Carly's discussing Donna's schedule when Jason walked in. Carly hugged him and told him she was glad he was home. Sonny welcomed him too. Jason said he did not know why the WSB let him go and that he came straight back to spend time with Danny first.
He told them what happened on the pier with Cullum and Rocco, and that knowing Jason had taken the blame to protect Rocco was what hurt Danny most. He described being held in isolation with no sense of day or time and no communication with anyone. Sonny and Carly filled him in on Sidwell holding a gun on ADA Turner and the case against him. Carly told him Josslyn had refused to leave the WSB but was no longer working undercover. Sonny mentioned Valentin was a free man and seeing Carly, which nearly started an argument before Carly asked them to save it for another night.
Later, Sonny told Jason that Ric would be working alongside him going forward and asked Jason to make peace. Jason shook Ric's hand, but told Sonny afterward there would never be real peace between them and that he could not keep working for Sonny.
Jason and Britt
Britt ran into Jason for the first time since his return. She slapped him, then explained it was cover so she could treat him privately while on probation for a possible concussion. They hugged. Jason told her about his time away with Danny. Britt told him she was not dying, that the Huntington's diagnosis had been a manipulation, and thanked him for what he sacrificed for Rocco while apologizing for the toll it took on him. He told her she did not need to defend herself to him. He confirmed she meant it when she told him she loved him before the WSB took him, and told her he loves her too.
Valentin, Brennan, and the Black Box
Valentin brought Brennan the black box he had recovered and demanded his frozen assets in exchange. Brennan agreed, and Josslyn began unfreezing his accounts. Once his assets were released, Valentin ran up expensive charges at the Metro Court and told Carly he wanted to give her what she deserved now that he could. Carly pointed out how many people had been killed, kidnapped, or held in a subterranean room at Wyndemere; he said no house is perfect. Anna walked in on the two of them kissing.
Separately, Ric told Sonny that Sidwell's assets, including Wyndemere and his piers, will go up for auction once he is transferred to Pentonville. Sonny plans to bid through a proxy to acquire the Rochester piers alongside 55 and 56.
Ethan and Ava
Ava and Ethan spent the night together. The next morning, he told her he did not see it as a fling and was open to seeing where things went if she was. She admitted she was not sure what she was doing with him, noting he took a bullet for her and has been doing right by Phoebe, but that he always seems to be working an angle. He told her his reasons were simple: he finds her beautiful, and he likes her. He said the moment he realized his feelings had changed was when she chose to leave Phoebe with Brook Lynn and Chase and put the baby's welfare first.
At the pool, Drew approached Ava and asked how much she knew about what happened with Nina and Willow. She told him she only knew Willow had been devoted to his care and that his ordeal had caused a lot of people pain, especially Scout, and that she was proud of how Scout had handled it.
Ethan later spotted an unidentified man near the pool's towel stand and left abruptly. He went home and told Lulu he was leaving town for good, asking her to let everyone know. Lulu reminded him he worked for Sonny now and that walking away would not go unnoticed. Shortly after, the same man called the house asking Lulu to confirm Ethan's address. She told him Ethan had already left the country and gave him nothing further.
Marshall Meets Desmond
Marshall arrived at Portia's straight from the airport to meet his new grandson. Isaiah answered the door, and Marshall asked who he was before Portia explained he was staying to help her out. Marshall held the baby and said he reminded him of Curtis at that age. He told Isaiah his loyalty is to his son, but that he is willing to accept Isaiah on his own terms for the baby's sake, and shook his hand.
Marshall later returned with Stella to visit again, with Curtis present. Curtis asked his father and aunt not to make it obvious who their favorite grandchild was. Marshall said Desmond has Irene's eyes.
Curtis, Isaiah, and the Trial
Marshall pushed Curtis to reconsider the plea deal, pointing out he has no hard evidence, only reasonable doubt, and warned that a shorter sentence now beats losing more time later. Stella told Tracy she does not recognize Curtis's version of Isaiah and thinks the evidence against him is thin. She said Curtis is a good man but too stubborn to take the deal, and that she is not sure she can sit in the courtroom and support that decision.
Isaiah told Britt he intends to testify against Curtis. She advised him to keep his testimony factual on the stand rather than vindictive, since coming across as out for revenge could work against him.
The Quartermaines and Drew's Ban
Jason returned to the Quartermaine mansion to a warm welcome, followed by news that Danny and Charlotte had taken the speedboat to Egret Island the night before and grazed a sandbar, damaging the hull. Jason told Danny he would pay it off by getting his job back at the Metro Court pool. Gio then told the family he had pulled Drew from the lake and driven him home.
Tracy wanted Drew's lifetime ban from the property reinstated now that he was mobile again. Gio argued being locked in for months might have changed him. Tracy and Jason both pushed back on the idea, with Jason saying whatever good was once in Drew, everything he has done to Michael and the family since should keep him away. Danny told Tracy he did not think Drew should be banned, since Scout needed both of her parents and Drew would not let Scout train at the boathouse without him present. Jason backed his son. Tracy relented, agreeing Drew could be on the property only when he was there with Scout.
Drew later showed up at the Quartermaine pool. When Danny accidentally spilled a drink on him, Drew told him he could not be trusted to be careful around Scout. Brook Lynn told him to back off, and the two argued over his place in the family. Drew told her Willow was coming for Chase.
Rocco, Charlotte, Danny, and Scout
Scout has been training for an open water swim to raise money for breast cancer research and mentioned spotting what she believed was a mink near Egret Island, an island she said no one else seems to visit. Danny wanted to take the speedboat there at night and build a bonfire. Rocco objected, warning a fire on the water would draw the Harbor Patrol. Charlotte agreed they could go without the fire, and she and Danny left for the island together, leaving Scout and Rocco behind. That trip is what led to the boat's damage.
Rocco apologized to Scout for the tension the disagreement caused. She told him he had been right to push back.
Josslyn, Emma, and the WSB
Emma confronted Josslyn after learning she works for the WSB. Josslyn explained she could not tell anyone and hated lying, and apologized for taking the internship Emma wanted while she was on assignment. Emma asked whether Josslyn knew what was happening to Anna. Josslyn said she did not find out until she herself was taken, and confirmed Anna knows she is with the WSB but that she could not say more while undercover. Emma told her the WSB takes people, drains them, and discards them.
Later, Gio told the group Drew was alive and recovering. As the others reacted, Josslyn stepped away to make a call to the WSB's Berlin office.
Anna and Peter
Anna spent time in conversation with Peter August, who pushed her to believe Cassius and Britt were dangerous echoes of Faison and argued that Britt needs to be stopped before she stops Anna. He warned her against trusting Valentin. Anna told him she is not a murderer and intends to see Valentin regardless.
Jason later visited Anna and told her he did not believe Britt was involved in what happened to her, based on what he had seen of Cassius choosing to protect Rocco. Anna remained unconvinced. Emma found Anna afterward and asked who she had been talking to; Anna said she was dictating files. Emma grew upset that she had not been told about Josslyn's WSB status. Anna apologized if she ever gave Emma the impression family was not her first priority.
Tristan and Britt
Tristan Roberts told Brennan he did not want anyone from the WSB checking in on him at the hospital, saying his reports would come when there was something to report. Britt later called him in for a false consult to confront him about being planted to watch her and threatened to report him to the hospital board. Tristan told her he is not a WSB agent, only someone who once worked at a WSB medical facility, and suggested she get her facts straight.
Lucy, Serena, and Deception
Serena Baldwin returned to Port Charles, telling Lucy she had lost her trust fund after trusting the wrong people and making bad investments. Lucy told her the timing was good, since she is not willing to leave Deception in what she considers the wrong hands now that Michael has acquired Maxie's shares, and asked for Serena's help taking the company back. Serena also mentioned she was looking forward to meeting Cody, her brother.
Nina and Brennan
Nina pressed Brennan on why he was willing to help her cover up what happened with Drew. He told her it came down to the fact that she saved his life once and that he repays his debts, then asked her to dinner. She questioned whether it was a date; he said yes. He kissed her.
Quick Notes
Trina and Kai. The two decided to tell Michael that Willow was the one who shot Drew, giving him information Willow does not know is out there.
Liz, Dante, Lucas, and Joe. Liz and Lucas discussed his apartment search at the park before a GH staff softball game. Dante showed Liz how to angle her glove against the sun. Joe then asked Lucas how long Liz and Dante had been together; Lucas said they were just friends. Joe and Lucas agreed to share apartment listings with each other.
Port Charles Pipeline
Cheri wrote in twice this week. She pointed out that Charlotte is now effectively a year younger than previously established, since the show referred to her as sixteen this week after stating she was seventeen. She also flagged that Scout's age is still listed as thirteen based on Alexis's earlier statement that she was twelve last August, and that Stella's new title, Chief Administrator, was confirmed through dialogue between Britt and Lucas.

Reality Check
Amanda started a new job this week and spent most of it in onboarding. Her daughter Emily moved back home and took back the room Amanda had been turning into her office, so she's rearranging her space again. Her husband Ryan surprised her with a Starbucks cup she'd been wanting, and her family's schedule is shifting from dance winding down to cheer picking back up.
Shannon had a rough week. Her son tried living on his own for a few days while his dad traveled, then came home and went straight to bed after a heavy stretch at work. Something she'd been counting on mid-week kept slipping and landed on an already full day.
