General Hospital Recap: September 21-25, 2026

We Should Do This Again Sometime
Charlotte's plan to catch Drew in a compromising video fell apart before it started, and by the end of the week, Valentin and Lulu had a boarding school decision to deliver. Jordan saw something outside the Brown Dog she was never supposed to see. At Pentonville, a warning to Curtis turned into a beating with Sonny Corinthos's name attached to it.

Charlotte, Rocco, Scout, Valentin, and Lulu
Charlotte was waiting in Drew's car in the Metro Court parking lot when Scout opened the driver's door and Rocco opened the other. Danny had sent them both to stop her. By the time Carly came down after a call about kids in the lot, Charlotte had a cover story ready. She only wanted to take the car and get it muddy as a prank. Carly pointed out that even the prank version could have meant grand theft auto charges, and that was when Rocco told her the real plan. Charlotte had set up her phone to record herself with Drew so she could blackmail him into letting Scout and Danny see each other.
Carly took Charlotte up to her office. Charlotte asked her not to call her father, and Carly called him anyway. Valentin left a meeting with Willow to come over, and once Charlotte admitted what the video was for, he asked Carly to give them the room.
Charlotte called it a bad strategy and said she would do better next time. "There won't be a next time," Valentin told her. When she insisted she had everything under control, he told her she had nothing under control and asked what she would have done if Drew had actually gotten in the car. Then he yelled at her for putting her life at risk. He took her phone and told her she was done with Danny, not even at school.
Meanwhile at the Surf Lodge, Scout told Rocco she was tired of people trying to hurt her dad through her. The more everyone came after Drew, the more overprotective he got, and the more she ended up lying to him. She cried and said she would be alone without Rocco, and he wiped away her tear. Rocco wanted to stop sneaking around and be honest with Drew, but Scout was sure Drew would never accept it, since Rocco and Danny are practically brothers. They kissed before a text reminded Rocco he was late meeting his parents.
Lulu and Dante were waiting for him at the Metro Court Gardens. Lulu was trying to give Rocco room and trust that he was where he said he was. When she asked Dante about Nina's arrest, he said that off the record he had wanted to put his fist through a wall and did something much more drastic instead. Yoga. Lulu reminded him she had spent years trying to get him to try it. Carly passed their table and headed straight to Molly, where she explained what Charlotte had done and asked how they could keep Scout from telling Drew. Molly later sat down with Scout and convinced her to keep it quiet.
Valentin told Carly that as hard as it would be, Charlotte could not live with him anymore. He was sending her to boarding school, and he did not want Lulu to know about Drew's car. Carly told him he had brushed off Lulu's concerns about Charlotte, he had been wrong, and he needed to own it.
So he did. Valentin went to Lulu, apologized, told her what Charlotte had tried to do in Drew's car, and brought up boarding school. Lulu also talked with Jason about Danny and Charlotte bringing out the worst in each other.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Charlotte blamed Rocco for ruining her life and accused him of pulling her out of that car to impress Scout. He did not deny caring about Scout. Then Lulu called and asked him to bring Charlotte home. When Charlotte walked in and saw her father there, she promised it would never happen again. Lulu agreed it would not, because Charlotte was going to boarding school.
Jason went to Carly afterward for advice on keeping Danny and Charlotte from crossing a line. Carly told him they were already well past it.
Danny, Cody, and Tracy
Tracy Quartermaine caught Danny trying to take another one of her cars, and Cody was the one who delivered the punishment: a lot more chores. Danny insisted he had to stop a friend from doing something stupid and asked to borrow Cody's truck. Cody said no but offered to drive him wherever he needed to go. Then a text came in that Rocco had found Charlotte, and Danny picked the broom back up. Cody told him that if he followed the rules and stayed out of trouble, people like Tracy would go to bat for him with Drew, and he would get to see his sister.
Tracy later found Danny in the stables and added the water trough to his list. She was surprised when he did not argue. Danny said he had broken his word to his dad by trying to take a mint condition 1966 Shelby Mustang, the oldest car he could find to hotwire, and that he could have killed her when she jumped in front of it. Tracy told him he was worth it to her. He was a Quartermaine with more potential than he realized, and she was not going to let anyone squander it. She told him to ask Jason what his aspirations were at Danny's age. Danny texted his dad, and Jason left the Brown Dog to come hear it.
Anna, Britt, Jason, and the WSB
Britt found a listening ear in Isaiah at GH. She told him she had been doing her best to help someone and had not realized how much that person was being hurt. Isaiah told her that was on the people who never realized she was hurting too.
Jason visited Anna, who told him he should not have refused to back Britt with the PCPD, because Britt had every right to go to them. Jason did not think Anna needed to be locked up. She wanted to stay in Port Charles and work with Dr. Nichols, and she asked Jason to make sure Josslyn and Emma both knew she brought this on herself, that Emma did not blame Josslyn, and that Emma understood exactly what Anna had done to Britt.
Agent Baines arrived with news Anna did not expect. Josslyn had told him about her break, but instead of taking Anna into custody, the WSB would let her stay in Port Charles for treatment with Dr. Nichols. All she had to do was sign an NDA agreeing not to disclose anything that happened to her over the past year. She signed. On his way out, Baines told Jason the WSB was glad he was enjoying his freedom, and should they need him again, they trusted he would be available. Once Baines was gone, Jason told Anna that he and Britt had broken up.
Jason and Sonny later caught up over a beer at the Brown Dog. Britt walked in, she and Jason looked at each other for a moment, and she walked right back out. Jason told Sonny he could not give Britt the trust she needed, so it was not fair to either of them to stay together.
Anna, Emma, and Felicia were warming up for a class at the Aurora Wellness Center when Britt came in. Emma got angry at Britt for joking about Anna hurting her, and Anna told Emma she did not blame Britt for feeling that way. When Emma went to fill her water bottle, Britt told her that once she had been dragged into the woods and held at gunpoint, she could decide when Britt was allowed to joke with the person who held the gun.
Anna apologized. Britt said she knew Anna had not been in control that night, and Anna thanked her for not pressing charges. Britt said they could call it even, since she had not helped Anna when she found out she was being held under Wyndemere, though she really had meant to go back for her. Anna told Britt that when the delusions took over, she forgot something important: Britt's father, in his own way, had hurt her as much as he hurt Anna.
Willow, Valentin, Ava, and Nina
Willow Tait left Agent Baines a message demanding a call back, then turned to Valentin for help getting Nina out. When she insisted Nina had been framed, Valentin raised Drew as someone with plenty of motive, given what Willow and Nina had done to him. Willow asked whether Nina had told him anything about Drew. She had not.
Valentin did not believe Brennan would have left Nina holding the bag for his disappearance. His advice was that the WSB would be far more willing to help Willow if she made herself valuable to the agency as a whole. When Baines finally came by her office, Willow asked him what the WSB needed from her to bring Nina back to Port Charles immediately.
Willow later met Ava at the Metro Court Gardens and told her they were going to get Nina out by finding Jack Brennan. Ava suggested starting by getting Nina moved somewhere more humane. Then she told Willow that Carly was the one who pointed Baines toward Nina, and made the case that Carly could be the one framing her.
Is Nina a bad person? One host said something on the record this week that the other immediately marked for posterity.
Sonny, Justine, and Jordan
Justine Turner ran into Sonny at the Brown Dog, then sat down for drinks with Jordan. She explained why there would be no serious charges against Brook Lynn, since the only thing she failed to report was a scraped guardrail. Justine also shared that Robert Scorpio was stepping down as DA and she planned to run for the seat. When Sonny left the bar, he found Justine outside, they kissed, and Jordan spotted them.
Jordan brought it up the next time they met at the Metro Court Gardens. Justine admitted she had real feelings for Sonny, and Jordan warned her that no matter what he said about going legit, being linked to him would sink her campaign. Justine texted Sonny to meet at the apartment above Charlie's and told him Jordan knew.
Justine said they never should have kissed in public, and that Jordan being her friend was the only reason it had not ended her career. Sonny told her he had gone legit and did not want this to end. Justine did not want it to end either.
Chase, Brook Lynn, Tracy, Michael, and Willow
Chase met with Monet Mitchell, the newest attorney at Miller & Davis, at the Metro Court Gardens. He told her he still loved his wife and was not sure he wanted a divorce. Her advice was to file for legal separation and move back into the house.
Back at the mansion, Tracy found Brook Lynn in the solarium after Chase had packed up and left. She told Brook Lynn to stop carrying the guilt, and that if Chase ended the marriage over this, he was the liar. Tracy then sat down with Yuri about getting Chase and Willow into an affair. He tried to talk her out of it but promised his loyalty either way.
At the Aurora Wellness Center, Drew spotted Chase and Willow working out together and kept watching as Chase told Willow about Monet's advice. He thought that away from the Quartermaines, he and Brook Lynn might have a chance, and said Brook Lynn had offered to move out with him. Willow encouraged him to move back into the mansion for Phoebe and offered to help him get whatever he needed for the baby. After Chase left, Willow had a fantasy about him in the steam room.
Drew went to Michael and told him what he had seen. Michael said he had moved on. Drew apologized for getting involved with Willow, and Michael made it clear Drew could consult at Aurora, but that was all.
Monet showed up at the Quartermaine mansion to tell Tracy that Chase was moving back in. When Tracy refused, Monet said she would push for a legal separation so Chase could get a custody agreement for Phoebe. Tracy agreed to let him move in, as long as he did not give Brook Lynn a hard time. Once Chase went to unpack, she told Michael her real plan was to get Chase to commit adultery so Brook Lynn could get full custody. Michael asked how he could help.
Hudson stopped by the mansion looking for Josslyn and ended up helping Brook Lynn bring a pack and play down to the solarium. They were playing peekaboo with Phoebe when Chase walked in and told Brook Lynn he had moved into the east wing to be close to their daughter. She asked if he was positioning himself for custody.
Michael, meanwhile, asked Josslyn not to move out of her apartment on the Quartermaine property so she could be another set of eyes on Chase and Willow. When he explained the plan, Josslyn refused and told him he sounded like Drew.
Jordan and Monet Mitchell
After Justine left the Metro Court Gardens, Jordan kept waiting for a meeting that never seemed to show. As she got up to leave, Monet greeted her as her big sister and took a shot at Jordan's scars.
When they finally sat down, Jordan pointed out they had not spoken in years and the first thing Monet did was insult her. Monet said she had moved to Port Charles to join Miller & Davis. Jordan had not even known her sister was a lawyer, and she did not believe for a second that it was a coincidence Monet landed in her city. Monet suggested Jordan might have caused her own injuries for attention, then left. When Michael sat down afterward, Jordan told him nobody gets under your skin like a sister.
Sonny, Ric, Ava, and Avery
Ric Lansing went over the list of Sidwell's properties and companies with Sonny, who only cared about getting Piers 55 and 56 back. They talked about staying on their toes in case anyone tried to undercut Sonny, and Ric warned that Drew's interest in the piers seemed personal. When Vito arrived, Sonny would not let Ric sit in. Afterward, he told Ric he had asked Vito to get a message to a prisoner at Pentonville.
Ava got a call from Avery's school and went straight to Sonny's. He was taking Avery out of school for a couple of days to see a ballet in New York City with Donna, and Ava already had plans to take her to Romeo and Juliet in January. Sonny reminded her their custody agreement put him in charge of schooling decisions. Ava threatened to take him to court, and Sonny threatened to tell Avery what kind of mother she has. Ava let the trip go forward, then went to meet Drew.
Curtis, Portia, Sidwell, and Alexis
Portia brought Des to Pentonville to see Curtis. She told him she shows Des his picture every day and plays the videos Curtis recorded before he left. When Curtis mentioned that Brook Lynn had been the other driver, Portia reminded him she had told him so. After she left, another inmate told Curtis to find a reason not to be in his cell after lunch.
Sidwell, meanwhile, approached Alexis while she was at Pentonville for another client. He wanted her to get him out of his plea deal so he could have a trial. She declined. He told her Sonny had people inside trying to hurt him and asked her to get Sonny to back off. Alexis had no comment.
Curtis warned Sidwell he needed to get to the warden. Sidwell refused and offered to pay Curtis to watch his back instead, but Curtis wanted no part of it. When he came back, three inmates were beating Sidwell. One pulled a knife, and Curtis stepped in. By the time the inmates walked away, Curtis and Sidwell were both bloodied on the floor, and the inmate who had warned Curtis invoked Sonny Corinthos by name on his way out.
Did Curtis just become a hero, or did he hand the parole board a reason to keep him? The hosts are not sure which way this breaks.
Quick Notes
Trina told Gio she had blocked Simon and was done with their music career. Gio said if she was out, so was he. When Brook Lynn stopped by, she talked Trina into staying in, though Trina refused to keep working with her.
Drew approached Kai at the Aurora Wellness Center and told him he knew Willow shot him, since people talk freely around someone they think is furniture. He accused Kai of being in his house the night of the shooting, then thanked him for looking out for him and Scout and offered him a job at Aurora. Kai turned it down.
Port Charles Pipeline
We finally got to Tammy's homework from last week, a General Hospital Mad Lib. Shannon read out the list of words so everyone at home could play along, and yes, Pier 54 was the obvious answer for "a place in Port Charles." Amanda wants a whole book of GH Mad Libs now.
Becky asked if we had seen The Accountant 2, since the main character accepts payment in real artwork, a nice follow-up to our underground art market conversation. Shannon has seen the first one, and she loved that Ben Affleck is from Boston, where the art heist she brought up took place.
Lisa sent a clip from Will Trent on Hulu where the characters talk about General Hospital like longtime fans, and the comment section went deep on Lila Quartermaine, Pickle-Lila, and Stuart Damon. We are now apparently starting a show in its fourth season for one scene.
A quick housekeeping note: part of last week's audio clip from the Are We GH'ing podcast dropped out during editing, so we played it in full this week. You can also catch us making a guest appearance on James Lott Jr.'s YouTube channel for his 11th anniversary GH celebration.

Reality Check
Amanda went to Kennywood's Halloween event last weekend with Madeline, and while the characters on stilts and skates were fun, the haunted houses mostly gave her a headache. Megan and a friend saved her from the long walk to the far parking lot. Later in the week, Megan called and asked her to ride along to Raising Cane's in Washington, PA, which turned into a drive through Mount Washington, the South Side, and the North Shore with their old dance party playlist. Add a remote learning day and Ryan's birthday party at Matt's, and it was a good, quiet week.
Shannon took a family trip to New York City. It was her son's first time there and JD's first in nearly 20 years. They saw Just in Time with Jeremy Jordan as Bobby Darin, went to the American Museum of Natural History, Strawberry Fields, the Central Park Zoo, Top of the Rock, a sunset cruise, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the 9/11 Memorial, where they learned about the white flowers placed on names for birthdays. Shannon walked across the Brooklyn Bridge as part of working on her fear of bridges, and they celebrated her daughter's birthday at Ellen's Stardust Diner. By the end, they had logged more than 35 miles on foot.
This Thursday on the Port Charles 411
Trina's song "Pray" has been streaming since September 1, and Tabyana Ali's music video was set to drop September 25. That got Amanda wondering who else brought a music career to General Hospital, or used the show to launch one. Thursday's 411 covers musical guest stars and the characters who got to show off their talent on screen.
