This week, more of Port Charles found out about Anna's breakdown and had to figure out how to help her, Britt walked away from Jason, and Nina Reeves ended the week on a plane to Switzerland. Watch the full episode below, or listen on Spotify or catch us on YouTube or your favorite podcast player.

Britt and Jason Are Over

At the boathouse, Britt told Jason she hadn't known the full details of what Anna went through during her captivity, and that by the time she could have tried to help her, Anna had already been moved. Jason told her she has a chance now to make up for not saving Anna back then. Britt reminded him she was the one Anna held at gunpoint, and asked what he'd say if she turned Anna in and named him as a witness. He told her he couldn't be that witness. She pushed further, asking what he'd do if she hadn't survived. Jason said he doesn't believe Anna would have killed her, but that Britt needs to believe it to justify not helping Anna. Britt told him that means neither of them trusts the other, and she needs that in a relationship. She said their love isn't enough to make this work, and walked away.

Britt threw herself into work afterward, brushing off Tristan's concern and telling him Anna doesn't have a firm grip on reality and probably made up what she told him. Obrecht didn't have much to say about the breakup at all, which struck at least one person as odd for a mother who loves her daughter that much.

Anna's Breakdown Comes to Light

Anna opened up to Tristan about the PTSD she's been managing and the civilian therapist she's been seeing outside WSB channels. He examined her, and once she became his patient, doctor-patient confidentiality meant he couldn't share anything with the bureau.

Josslyn went looking for Anna and got into it with Emma at the apartment before Anna arrived home and sent Emma out for tea so she and Joss could talk. Joss told Anna she'd found the message Anna had carved into the wall at Wyndemere during her own captivity, and that it had given her hope. Anna told her that when an agent's judgment breaks down, the WSB has to be told, and that Joss shouldn't be an agent if she isn't willing to follow that rule. Joss later met with Agent Banes separately and reported that Anna has had a breakdown and is being treated by a civilian outside the bureau.

Valentin came to see Anna after learning what happened from Britt, and offered to disappear with her. Carly then showed up looking for Anna and found Valentin still there. After Carly left, Anna told Valentin not to be a fool and that he needed to go after her, saying he could stay only until Felicia arrived, but that once he found Carly, he had to tell her he was done looking after Anna.

Later, at home, Valentin explained to Carly what Anna is dealing with, describing it as something tied specifically to Faison and to decades of history that goes beyond an ordinary WSB case. Carly told him he has a lot of faith in Anna. He explained that Anna wants that same happiness and peace for him, and that he has it with Carly.

Nina Arrested, Willow Left to Pick Up the Pieces

Agent Banes questioned Nina early in the week about her relationship with WSB agent Jack Brennan, who has been missing for days. Nina admitted they were romantically involved and that they'd argued the night he disappeared, but wouldn't answer further questions without a lawyer. Around the same time, Nina called Ric to let him know she'd be using him if she needed representation.

Later in the week, Banes arrested Nina after Jack's wallet turned up in her car and multiple witnesses placed her threatening him. She was charged with making a threat against an active WSB agent and extradited to a WSB facility in Switzerland. Ric went to Willow's office to break the news, since Nina hadn't wanted her daughter pulled into it. Willow put Ric on retainer as well and said she'd use her own connections to try to bring her mother home.

Chase Tells Alexis He's Considering Ending His Marriage

Chase went to Alexis to ask whether a divorce from Brook Lynn would put Phoebe's adoption at risk. He told her it's been a long time coming, explaining that he loves Brook Lynn but that the differences he once saw as a strength between them have become what's pulling the marriage apart. Alexis tried to talk him out of it and told him she wouldn't be the one to represent him if it came to that.

Charlotte's Plan to Frame Drew

Charlotte got hold of the keys to Drew's car after he handed them off, let herself in, and set up her phone to record before hiding in the front seat, planning to make it look like she and Drew had been together. Danny had already warned her this was too dangerous and could follow her for the rest of her life, but she went ahead anyway. When he couldn't reach her, he called Aurora looking for Drew and rushed out to find her.

Elsewhere, Drew met Jordan to apologize on Brook Lynn's behalf. Jordan told him she's asked Brook Lynn to use the Quartermaine name to help get Curtis released early. Drew, who used to be close with Curtis, said he has connections of his own and wants to make amends with both of them. Valentin and Lulu argued afterward about whether Danny and Charlotte spending so much time together is good for either of them, with Lulu increasingly convinced the two are a bad combination.

By the end of the week, Charlotte was still hiding in Drew's car when someone opened the door.

Ava Learns the Truth About Drew

Ava confronted Drew about what he'd done to get Nina arrested. He told her he was angry because Nina had tried to kill him, and admitted it was actually Willow, not Nina, who shot him in the first place. He also told Ava that Willow had pushed him into the lake, and that what everyone assumed was a stroke was actually a paralytic he'd been drugged with that had started to wear off because his captors had run out of it. He reminded Ava that the same paralytic drug had once been used on her, right before Nina took her baby. Ava told him that had been a different version of Nina, and that she believes Nina has changed.

Quick Notes

Cody and Molly returned from their trip, and Serena stopped by the stables to return Outback before Mac and Felicia surprised Cody with a family dinner. Serena noted that at least one of Dominique's kids is lucky in love.

Molly ran into Lucas and his new roommate Joe at Aurora Wellness, where Joe put a hungover Lucas through a workout. Molly was convinced there's more between the two of them than either was letting on.

Elizabeth stopped Dante from getting himself in trouble with the WSB at the station, then took him to a yoga class to help him unwind after a rough stretch as acting commissioner.

Danny is working off what he owes the Quartermaines by helping out in Cody's stables.

Sonny asked Turner about Nina's arrest, and she said the fallout could cost her everything she's worked for. She also told him Robert Scorpio is unofficially officially stepping down, and that she plans to run for his seat.

Port Charles Pipeline

Phyllis wrote in to let us know another GH podcast gave us a shoutout, specifically mentioning our Valentin 411 episodes, and she wanted to share the love. She also floated the idea of a joint episode between the two podcasts, which we're absolutely open to. Thanks for thinking of us, Phyllis, and for making our week.

Tammy sent in another one of her mad libs (we're saving that one for a future episode) along with a note about Halloween season reminding her of Emily Quartermaine's death at the black and white ball back in 2007. We're going to dig into that storyline properly when we get closer to Halloween, so consider this an early heads up.

Reality Check

It was Shannon's birthday week, capped off with dinner at Viva La Vida in Fox Chapel and a margarita that arrived with dry ice smoking out of the glass. She squeezed in one more pool day before the weather turns, started Jon Lindstrom's book Hollywood Payback, and spent a day volunteering at a golf outing. She's off to New York City with her family for a few days to see Just in Time, her daughter's third trip with her in thirteen months.

It was a tougher week for Amanda. Her kids had to say goodbye to a beloved family dog who'd been part of their lives since they were small, and comforting them through it took priority over most everything else. She still managed a dinner out with her sister for soft serve margaritas, and Madeline had a busy week between a cheer game and a band-and-cheer showcase at the high school.
