We are recapping the week of March 9 -13, 2026, and there is a lot to cover. Here is what had us talking this week.
Carly, Valentin, and Jason
Monday opened with Valentin and Carly waking up together. Valentin acknowledged it was an impulsive decision that made an already complicated situation even more complicated. He asked if she did it to make someone hurt or because she wanted to. Her answer was a little of both. Before the conversation could go much further, Jason walked in.
He was not happy. He later went up to the attic to talk to Valentin directly. He just needed to know Valentin was not going to hurt Carly. Valentin told him it was in his best interest to keep her safe. It is not exactly reassuring, but it is honest.
Jason spent the rest of the week quietly checking on the people around him. He talked to Joss, checked on Danny, and asked Michael to be a role model for Danny if something happened to him. Not a guardian, just someone Danny could come to. He was very specific about that. Jason also filled Valentin in on everything, and Valentin told him that Carly’s determination was what impressed him when she first came to him at Steinmeyer. Valentin also told Jason that if things go the way he thinks they will, they may not have to leave at all.
One more thing worth mentioning: there was a book on Carly’s side table called Fearless, the final book in a romantasy trilogy called the Powerless series by Lauren Roberts. The story follows a girl pretending to be something she is not to survive, navigating a forbidden romance, and uncovering a dark conspiracy. We may have read into that a little.
The Nathan Mystery Gets Deeper
Nathan took James to the batting cages this week. It was a sweet outing right up until James insisted that Nathan actually bat, and it was not pretty. Shannon noticed right away. When Nathan first said no to James, she clocked it immediately: Nathan cannot play baseball anymore.
And then he proved it.
Shannon’s theory is that he is missing the right hemisphere of his brain. The right hemisphere handles real-time instinctual physical action. The left handles the analytical, step-by-step side of movement. That would explain why he was able to coach James through his stance but could not execute the swing himself. Amanda is not fully convinced, but she did agree to throw Shannon a party and record an apology episode if it turns out to be right.
The other thing that stood out: Nathan told James he does not know Spinelli all that well yet. Nathan and Spinelli had years of history. They were not close, they were adversaries. The real Nathan would not say that. And Peter knew Spinelli too, so that rules him out. Shannon is currently landing on Stavros as her best guess for who this actually is.
Maxie and Lulu
Maxie went to check on Dante this week, assuming Lulu had already told him about her and Nathan. She had not. Neither had Nathan. So Dante heard about it after the fact, same as Maxie.
Maxie and Lulu ended up in a tense back and forth. Maxie’s frustration makes sense. Nathan woke up and within six months had already moved on, and she grieved him for years. Amanda pointed out that Lulu of all people should understand that feeling, considering how devastated she was when Dante moved on after her coma. She cannot be upset about her ex getting over her quickly and then expect Maxie to be fine with the same thing.
Also worth knowing: if someone is legally declared dead, their marriage is legally terminated. It does not automatically come back when they return. There would need to be an actual legal process to restore it. So technically, she is not his wife anymore and he is not her husband. We looked it up.
Molly and the Endometriosis Storyline
Molly had a flare-up at Charlie’s this week. She tried to brush it off; Cody was not going along with that. He eventually went to Felicia to ask what endometriosis is. He did not tell her who he was asking about, and Felicia answered the question directly without trying to fill in the blanks. She told him what it is, what it can cause, and that the best thing he could do is just be there for the person going through it. It was a good scene for Felicia.
Part of why this storyline is landing the way it is: Kate Mansi, who plays Kristina, has endometriosis herself and has been directing some of these episodes. It shows. Kristina was really good this week, helping Molly think through whether to tell Cody, without pushing her in either direction.
The Nail Salon
Jordan and Justine met up at the nail salon for a little girl time and some breathing room. Trina and Portia came in later. After Justine left, Jordan got overwhelmed by the smell and had to step out. When she came back, Portia announced right there in the nail salon that she thought Jordan was pregnant. Jordan has not taken a test yet. That was a lot to put out in a public setting.
Aunt Stella also stopped by Jordan and Curtis’s place this week with a very late housewarming gift, an air fryer, and found out Curtis had moved back in. She made her feelings known. Then Curtis told her she could find a pen in Jordan’s bag, Stella went looking, and found a pregnancy test instead. The lesson here is to just point someone to the kitchen junk drawer.
Charlotte
Brennan cornered Nina and made it clear: give up Valentin’s location or Willow’s secrets get exposed. Nina brought Charlotte into her office at Crimson and asked her to pass a message to her father. What Nina did not know is that Charlotte had already heard the conversation. She knew exactly what was happening.
Charlotte went straight to Valentin and told him she can feed Nina any location he wants. Before she left, she told Danny she was about to show Nina exactly how Cassadine she really is. It is a good storyline for her right now.
Quick Notes
Britt’s timeline just got pushed up. Cullum told her that her work has gotten the project back on track, which means Sidwell is moving up the schedule. She now has days to get a sample out of that safe. Lucas is trying to help, but neither of us can figure out how they get in and out of that room without Sidwell noticing. He seems to be up there every single day.
Brook Lynn got access to the NICU and brought Chase with her. They sat with Baby Jane Doe, whose last name turns out to be Wilson. Brook Lynn talked to the baby about not getting to hold Gio right after he was born. The attachment is building quickly, and the formal adoption process is still a long way off.
Sidwell told Willow that Scout needs to come back home to be with her and Drew. His reasoning was about appearances. The upside is that Willow told Alexis she would drop the restraining order, so Danny gets access again.
Gio and Sonny had a conversation at Charlie’s about figuring out what comes next for him, school, music, a career. Sonny is supposed to know this kid well, and the conversation felt more general than it probably should have. We expected more specifics from him given that history.
There is a lot more in this week’s episode, including Shannon’s full Nathan theory, the complete Maxie and Lulu debate, and a wedding ring that maybe should not still be on someone’s finger. Find us at GeneralHospitalPodcast.com or search Pier 54 on your favorite podcast platform.
