Against Girl Code

This past week on General Hospital (Dec 29, 2025–Jan 2, 2026) was a short holiday week with no new episodes on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, so it was mostly conversations and setup.

One of the biggest things we talked about was the New Year’s Day re-air of Luke Spencer’s final episode. This wasn’t an actual tribute — it was a re-air from 2015, when Anthony Geary originally left General Hospital. Holiday re-airs are expected, but it was promoted in a way that made it feel like a farewell or tribute, when it really wasn’t. We’re hoping this was simply a filler episode for the holiday and that the show still plans to do a proper tribute episode or special to honor the decades-long legacy Anthony Geary left behind.

Relationship-wise, a lot happened. Lulu and Nathan talked about Maxie, and we really focused on how Lulu coming out of a coma is not the same thing as Nathan coming back from the dead. Maxie has lived an entire life since Nathan died, and that matters. Carly and Valentin shared a moment that stood out because Valentin was genuinely grateful that Carly treated him like a person and a father — not just a criminal.

Curtis and Jordan had a serious conversation about their future and where they go from here, and they did wind up sleeping together. Cody asked Emma and Gio to watch Outback so he could surprise Molly at work on New Year’s Eve. Cody and Molly then spent the night together, and things shifted the next morning when Felicia and James arrived unexpectedly and caught them off guard. That led to James asking the big question: when he asked if Molly was Cody’s girlfriend, Cody said yes at the same time Molly said no, and they were both surprised by the other’s response.

Alexis had to change her defense strategy and started looking at other ways to protect Willow, including bringing Michael into focus. Kristina found Alexis’s notes and was understandably upset. Sonny warned Michael about what it could mean to go after Willow on the stand, especially with the kids involved. Drew and Willow stayed messy, Lucas confronted Willow, and Scout told Willow that Danny had been at Alexis’s house, which added to the tension.

Laura learned directly from Charlotte that Sidwell had approached both her and Ace, talking about their safety, which immediately raised the stakes. Jordan filled Laura in on Ava and Lucy both competing for Sidwell’s attention. Tracy also met Jacinda this week and was noticeably kinder than we expected, especially when cautioning Michael about involving Jacinda and the kids.

Overall, it was a very between-the-holidays week — nothing exploded, but a lot shifted.
